- Compared to the previous flagship model C1P, the C2U has significantly improved brightness and a strong HDR algorithm. I don't really like the appearance of the C2U, but I have to admit its picture quality is impressive. In short: if your budget allows, buy the C2U; if not, go for the C2P.

A projector like that is very capable for dark room. Most of us that use a dark room for our viewing experience don’t need speakers or a stand or even Google TV or any other operating system. it is exactly as you said, get rid of the stand get rid of the speakers only pay attention to the image settings and the specs that make this picture so beautiful. Many projectors from.Optoma or benq just can’t compete at this price point, especially with this kind of contrast.
I really hope they introduce a pure home theater device. it will sell like crazy, especially if it is equipped with lens shift and Dolby vision support like the global versions.

Vidda HT as you describe would be excellent. If I could add my own additional feature for the HT version, 24fps native support. None of these lifestyle projectors seem to have a 24p "filmmaker" mode.

How does it stand against C1P? 6 month Back I bought that and satisfied with the quality but yes I feel black is not much deep and brightness lacking.
C2U base does not look appealing, unnecessary. even C1P inbuilt sound is sufficient as we don't expect something out of the world sound from portable projector.
Wish if they had added Dolby Vision/Atmos.

最后给厂商的建议真的是非常好呢，厂商应该听取意见，出个可选配置的版本就真的非常棒了。真的是用作家庭影院投影的话肯定是有自己的音箱系统的。
镜头位移，片源和手机软件兼容性这几点也是我在使用c1p以来觉得可以提升的地方。内置音响我自己是基本不用的，但我也理解它对某些追求便携移动的用户来说还是会注重的卖点所以考虑到市场需求应该不会去掉。

The C2 Ultra will be my upgrade from Benq W1070. I do wish the stand was removable, though. I still have use for it, but eventually I will be ceiling mounting it back home. Hopefully, there's a way.

Wow, same here. First projector to own and I've had it for 10 years as well. Very happy with it, but I've been looking to move on to one with 4K, better contrast and full DCI-P3. Also, the Benq is back home, but where I live abroad I use a cheap 1080p projector.

Hello, thank you for your appreciation. The biggest difference between the C2 Ultra and the RS10 Ultra is the brightness under HDR; the C2 Ultra performs better in this aspect. On the other hand, the eye protection mode of the RS10 Ultra offers a more comfortable viewing experience (although the color gamut in this mode is smaller than that of the C2 Ultra). I think the RS10 Ultra might be more suitable for a bedroom, while the C2 Ultra is better suited for a home theater or living room where performance is a priority.

The black levels of the C2U are far inferior to those of the XW5000; at maximum brightness, the C2U displays black at around 0.1 nits, while the XW5000 is at 0.008 nits. This is because the C2U uses DLP technology, whereas the XW5000 uses LCoS technology. However, the difference is not that noticeable because their ANSI contrast ratios (measured with black and white blocks displayed on the same screen) are quite similar, both around 150. The black levels of the C2U should be comparable to the 12000, but I don't have exact numbers since I haven't measured the 12000.

柔和耐看为要求的话三色激光确实不够柔和，它的优势就是高亮度，高对比度（在dlp中）和极广色域。我没看过tw7000
看过LS11000w，epson会更耐看一些，镜头素质更好，毕竟价格差距在这。但其他方面三色激光优势比较大，看自己喜好选择

For my personal use, I would choose the C2U because it has a higher contrast ratio at maximum brightness and significantly higher brightness in HDR mode. It also has a wider color gamut, providing more flexibility. If I were choosing for my family, I would pick the RS10U, as it is more comfortable for the eyes in eye protection mode. Without a direct comparison, they wouldn't notice the slight differences.

Hello colonel koala! I am your follower from uk. I am considering buying the vidda c2 pro, please clarify
1) does it support all 3D content with active shutter ? And how is the 3d quality?
2) does c2 pro have hdr 10+ because it is mentioned only c2 ultra has it.
3) how much of the menu can be converted to english? The seller from aliexpress assures me above 90% can be in english but i,m not sure.
4) Lastly how does c2 pro compare to the dangbei mars pro 2, which one is better in actual? Cant find any comparision anywhere.

1.It supports active shutter 3D and requires DLP-Link active shutter 3D glasses. The 3D effect is essentially the same as other DLP projectors.
2.According to official information, the C2P can support HDR10+ decoding, but only the C2U is HDR10+ certified.
3.It supports an English menu, which can be set in Settings - General - Language.
4.I haven't used the Dangbei Mars Pro 2, so I'm not sure about it.

Sure, here’s your response translated into English:
Glad you liked the video. Currently, the system doesn't support English. The input lag in game mode is about 10ms, definitely under 20ms. My TV has a 20ms lag, and when I use the C2U to play PS5, the lag is noticeably lower and more responsive. For a room with ambient light, I recommend using a gray screen, but avoid screens with gain or metallic screens, as they can negatively affect the perception of the triple-laser

Hi there, thanks for your appreciation of my videos.
Both of these projectors have their own strengths and weaknesses. In terms of brightness, especially HDR mode brightness, the C2U has a clear advantage. The C2U also has higher contrast at maximum brightness, while the RS10U has slightly higher contrast at brightness 6. However, the overall contrast difference is not significant, the main difference is in brightness. You can see this clearly in the test data in my video.
The RS10U's strengths are its smooth operating system, good-looking design, and especially its eye protection mode. Because it mixes LED light sources with three-color lasers, the spectrum is more continuous, so it is more comfortable for the eyes to look at. This cannot be captured by the camera. If you have children at home and watch the projector frequently, this is something to consider. The eye protection mode's color gamut is slightly smaller, but the colors are still vibrant because it is a DCI-P3 color gamut.
I don't think Dolby Vision is particularly important for projectors. This is because you can connect a Dolby Vision-enabled player to the projector to play Dolby Vision content. For example, when I play Dolby Vision with my Zidoo Z9X, the C2U displays it in HDR mode and the viewing experience is very good.

120的话c2p是最具性价比的，和c1p的主要差别是hdr亮度明显更充足，这和光源及hdr算法有关，观感也更成熟（影片最后有说），我认为差别足矣弥补他们一点差价
