Idk something about this theme is so beautiful. It literally made me cry and I’m a grown ass man.
I really enjoy it too, but it is strange how it feels unknown. I mean, there ain't a lot of videos/discussions about this song.
Maybe cause it only appears late in the story and in an optional quest ?

@@braindancer9254 this track is so rare.. not a lot of people have paid attention. One of the best tracks ive ever heard. Maybe if someone edits a really cute video to this, or does a tik tok, it could blow up.

This song sounds... Feels like innocent, like summer days and no worries, hopeful, in love... Like doing all those first things with a person you are in love with, asking them out, holding hands, the first kiss, seeing each other... Just pure bliss created by our brain chemicals dancing.
But above all else, it feels nostalgic. The sweet kind of nostalgia that, as sweet as it is, also leaves you a bit empty after it fades. It is different from the song that plays after you find Johnny's grave, with a riff that sounds forgotten and distant. This feels distant too, but remembered fondly.

The second I got to this part of the mission I had to pause the game and search for the soundtrack online just to find that it's an unreleased OST. That's how good this part was, it immediately captured what the scene conveyed without words and just music. Thank you for the extended version.

I remember finding this song and listening to it quite often afterwards...it made me want to do my own version
Originally, it was supposed to be a 600% slower version, like Bells of Laguna Bend and Outsider no More before
But I wasn't happy with the results, so I started over and tried new things !
Love the harmonics you added to it. Felt like falling in a pool. Definitely fleshes it out to a song instead of a small excerpt.

@@braindancer9254 I preferred his relationship with Rogue over Alt Cunningham, when he was alive. When he's in V's body it feels like she just wanted closure and did not want to continue the relationship.
@@uninhibition31 I think during the game he realizes all the missed oportunities with the people he had in his life.
Now that he has a second chance, he wants to "close" all the arcs. Like, he never got to take Rogue out on a date, so he does it now.
A relationship would be quite complicated in 2077 for him, so he just wants to be at peace with the people he got to know and especially himself. Love this.

this song legit makes me cry for some reason, easily the best OST in the game and it wasn't officially released

I mean, makes sense, it is only in a side mission in the 3rd act of the game thus many people missed it
But yeah, seeing nobody talk about it is one of the reasons I wanted to create this version !

This reminds me of the feeling I got from the song that plays during Red Dead Redemption 2 during the first mission with Mary when you are bringing her brother back. That feeling of an old love trying to blossom again and feeling those feelings like it was the first time.

as much as i like rogues character design i do wish there was more scenes with alt cunningham in her human form, she outta be my favorite chick

My favourite part about all of this is that it is said the flashbacks we see are highly influenced by Johnny
Which implies that her kidnapping/the assault on Arasaka may have gone down a lot differently
Even if having Alt's perspective on those events would be super interesting, I like that it stays a mystery

This whole scene was so sad to me. Life is so fragile in night city and that makes love even more precious. Even if Rogue and Johnny couldn't make up for lost time I'm glad they were at least able to get some closure. That counts for a lot and in night city with all the random death and violence it's a lot more than most people get.
I wouldn't say I found it sad, more like a mix of nostalgia, love and the feeling of closure
But in any case, true, it was special in this hell of a city

Johnny and rogues relationship Johnny wanted a relationship with rogue through v she says she’s not the same rogue v/Johnny drive in his Porsche to the movie theater it shut down in 2021 they break in put on a movie it’s the date they never went on unfortunately times 50 plus years and for a few minutes the movie sounds Are being heard then fade out then they have this warm theme that feels like love and nostalgia the world has changed around them yet it feels like it’s in the past at the same time beautiful man while it lasts that’s one of the reasons I love this game the characters you meet you can relate to them you have a connection with them you actually feel like you are v cyberpunk punk is one of my favorite games
