The precision and pride you and your craftsmen put into any job, even a messy disassembly like this is jaw dropping and inspiring. I love the meetings and philosophy of only the finest work no matter. I imagine a full ground up resto from your shop is crazy expensive, but the result would be the best example of the car probably on the planet. Look forward to more videos watching your amazing work, thank you from California!!!
Good evening Manel 👋from a very wet and rainy cold day here in Morpeth, Northumberland, UK ! 🙂.....a brilliant 30-minute video of this incredible porsche 911 project. Your teams knowland skill is world-class 👏 👏🇪🇸. I say this every time, and I can't wait for the next video ! I hope the Land Rover is coming along nicely with another video! Have a great weekend with a 🍻 Salut!
Hey Graham! Hope you are doing well! Yes! We are working on it every day, it has a lot of parts so It take time haha. Next working project (secret for you) 996 Porsche!
Some novices don’t realise the cost of restoration $$, I’m guessing these owners will pay in the end with heartbreak or their wallet, thank you family for the great production
Gracias usted Señores Alcala i equipo. Seems like someone found a car in the US and they want up have Alcala take it into parts that they can sell off and make money. With so many Euro and American garages creating restomods , this definitely will end up being a donor for 911 porsches .
I have to say that you learn one very valuable lesson from this video, more so than any on RUclips. The decision to walk away. When there is so much that needs to be done, it is not economically feasible to continue. I wish most people saw these cars this way. I still think it's a solid car, but if you are not doing the work yourself then it could add up to be four times the car's value. Smart to walk away. It till find a home with someone who can do DIY and get it done. Most mid-year 911s in the USA from this time are very rusted and trashed. This one looks clean. It will be a welcome project for someone who doesn't have to pay someone. However, if it were me, I would delete the sunroof altogether - why spend 5000 euro on it when you can delete the sunroof?
Thank you for your insightful comment! I completely agree with your perspective on knowing when to walk away from a project. It's crucial to evaluate the economic feasibility, especially with classic cars where restoration costs can quickly escalate. This particular mid-year 911 is indeed a solid car, and I hope it finds a new owner who can tackle the DIY work to make it shine again. Your suggestion about the sunroof is also valid-sometimes the best decision is to simplify rather than spend excessively. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and for your support of the channel!
Are you going to take off the all the under coating, cutting the side sills and also removing the cut removing rear quarter panels to check for rust? Lots of hidden rusts on these cars. also in front of the car.
If I were the car's owner I will do a less ambitious restoration. Canceling the sun roof for instance. The important thing is to enjoy the car qnd its preservation.
Well, we had to finish the restoration because the costs were really high, we do not buy and restore, is a customer restoration, we only restore. Thanks.

@@alcalatechnology You're one of the best in the world i think. Wish i had a car and send to you and i will make sure you did your job well.

Hola Manuel, ¿puedes decirme cómo puedo encontrar un catálogo de piezas en hojas grandes como el que utilizas tú?
Hola. Nos lo trajo el cliente.
Are you going to take off the all the under coating, cutting the side sills and also removing the cut removing rear quarter panels to check for rust? Lots of hidden rusts on these cars. also in front of the car.
Unfortunately we did not finish this restoration as the customer realized that what he bought was not what he spected. Thanks for watching!
What was that to the left of the engine fan? The oposide to the aircon compressor?
🧐
@@alcalatechnology ???
What model and year, please? Great vid as always.
What a sad end to what could have been a spectacular project, and if was a trained car mechanic i would apply for a job straight away with you guys.
Haha! Thank you! If you know from someone we are kind to have new guys with us!
Ile czasu zajęło Wam rozebranie i skatalogowanie części?
About 5 days, to make everything properly
Shame the client didnt want to continue with project. I wonder how payment works in this case for work already completed.
Hey! Very simple, we work with payments for processes.
South Texas car for sure there.
Yes!
😊
🙏🏻☺️
Una lástima, el cliente se habrá acojonado de cuanto le iba a subir el facturón, supongo que os pagará el montón de horas del desmontaje.
Por supuesto, trabajamos por procesos y así fue. Unas veces se gana, otras se pierde. Un saludo!

Yes.. well everyone has his own thoughts 💭
Hope they sell the car to someone who can restore it to its former glory
Well, we had to finish the restoration because the costs were really high, we do not buy and restore, is a customer restoration, we only restore. Thanks.
