Hi, cracking video! Is there any chance you could show how you put the hair sections together as I feel a lot of people must be asking that question. By the way, your Parker looks stunning! Many thanks. Stu
Thanks, the hair is just glued on with pva, working from the bottom up to the crown around the head in layers, once dried, is cut and styled, and any extra bits glued on, I shuold do a video just on hair I guess
You should do a more detailed video , would love to purchase one of these and try myself ( Ive seen a guy on ebay selling the kit ) . Video would make me more confident , if you do get time would much appreciate a detailed build. Thanx anyway , great build you have done.
@@Thunderbirds-models Thanx thats so nice of you , i think i will purchase the head first and see how i get along . Have you purchased from the Ebay fellow before, it looks like great quality. Any input would be appreciated.
@@parabot2 yes, I have bought from Duncan Willis, direct, for Troy Head, full puppets Scott, Virgil, Parker, The Hood, and Lady P, the kits are ok, but to make a close replica, lots of photo studies, and some scratch tinkering is required, but for me the clothes, and hair are the most challenging parts, there are plenty on videos on RUclips showing how to make wigs for dolls/puppets, and same for clothes
How much for a similar hair job please? I am 5'8", colour 'mousy' and my hat-size is 59! 🤔😉 "Dis was a most satisfying video don't you know" BRAVO, EXCEPTIONAL work. Best wishes from an English armour-maker in a French forest. 🏆⚒️🇬🇧
Ha haha I guess were are still all just kids inside even though we are old. Wow that was great and the suit. I didn't no you could buy the basic shape puppets, how much are they. cheers
Duncan willis sells the kits, this is the link to the website, replicagerryandersonpuppets.weebly.com/ Or he does do them on ebay, if you buy several, he'll do a deal. Yes I'm constantly being told I'm a big kid 😂
Could I ask….where do you purchase the hair from?….you’ve inspired me to “Give it a go” myself. Again, many thanks for sharing this amazing video of my childhood heroes.
Hi, I got the eyes and hair from here. www.elliesdolls.co.uk/ The eyes are blue, you can get them from ebay too, I used acrylic ones, some use glass like originals, but expensive. The paint is acrylic, I mixed my own until I thought it looked right to me, to a slightly darker tone.
This is outstanding . Parker looks ready for an adventure
Ha! Yus m'Lady
Amazing!
