Just had a new septic tank and drain field installed, after two weeks we're having back ups with very little use. We noticed that when looking at the clean outs there's standing water sitting on the pipes with no use and on the tank end where it drains to drain field, there's very little flow and about half an inch of water on the discharge pipe, at times the flow looks like it reverses back to the tank. I'm thinking there's a dip on the from the line to the house but I can figure out why there's such little flow in to big 500sqft drain field with very little use.
