I’ve nearly always used Sandisk, I’ve used others before I got into photography more seriously, things like Kingston which never worked on my old laptop but with Sandisk I seem to never have an issue. I say seem to as I have had some that have started to come apart at the top rendering them useless, thankfully I’ve got the images off wirelessly. I mainly use the Sandisk Extreme Pro these days as they are a decent speed and not expensive but not their cheapest or slowest either.

That's the issue with strictly saying "x brand is better" as they all typically have a bunch of budget crap that probably isn't even made by them and then their actual higher end products.

Once, only ONCE has a person I know bought a 256Gb Kingston one for like 20bucks (so he said) and also thought it was a scam without checking it or anything just opened in front of us and told my friend to give him 14dlls for it on a playful gamble and he did and what do u know. Cut out some serious details but bottom line, we were both very impressed it worked the 256Gbs although it was around a time where we could barely fill 128Gbs so all I know is that it worked for over a year without issues. After that we took some distance. But will always remember that Cuz that never happened to me and wasted many few bucks trying to find out if it could. Oh well.

That’s crazy how LoneDisk started out better then ScanDisk, but then as LD started to fall ( I was cheering for that card ) a bit SC actually improved the read from 78.01 to 95.27 that’s an increase of 7.20 after the endurance test was ran. So if low on funds LoneDisk is actually a very good deal vs ScanDisk (SD), if have 3-4 cards along with 3-4 batteries for a GoPro like I do to record all day with my motorcycle helmet GoPro it’s definitely worth it. Unless you fork out the money for a 128or 256 card.

I'm using the SanDisk Extreme 128Gb Micro SD cards in my GoPro Hero 4 Silver and 5 Black, no problems with recording in any resolution and my read speeds upload into my SSD internal drives on my computer average is around 19 Mbps! I recently purchased two bootleg SanDisk Extreme Pro black micro SD cards they gave me errors every time I recorded and when I try to upload them to my internal SSD it would only write it around 13 or 14 megabytes per second, one even lost my video completely, I promptly sent them back to eBay and got my money back and I'm going to stay with SanDisk Extreme!

One thing is for certain now buy micro SD cards from Amazon or somewhere else online becuz in store they are even more expensive just the other day I was at ATT and wanted a 128gb and they said $80 lol yeah when on Amazon it's $18 and that's what I did saved myself alot...and yes micro SD cards have dropped alot now I remember when 128 was considered the most plus very expensive and now we at 1TB going to 2TB!!

Im not sending mine back. They gave me a refund.. pointless to send something the size of a dime when its completely useless.. but that is why I wouldn't send it back.. I had a 512gb card that crapped out after a month.. its a smart idea if that is the case.. id believe it if I heard it on the news.. which I dont believe much of what they say to begin with
