This was already such an American sketch to begin with, but the fact that "Train" wasn't even included as a character was really the icing on the cake.
A train is just a bigger bus. There's still pee all over the toilet and bathroom floor, and as soon as you pick up speed and think you're getting somewhere, there's a station you have to stop at.

for people asking "where are train and boat?" they were in this sketch, but I ended up cutting them because they were not very funny

Finally, I heard Rocket was rumored to be in this video but they kept acting like the star of the show.
In Germany....Trains are always funny .... late ... chaotic ... chanceld or you got stabbed by teenagers.

@@Sly-MooseEvery country, I think, has trains. The point is we don’t use them nearly as often as other countries do because we’re too reliant on cars. I’d love to be able to take a train from my small town to the city but there’s no option for that. If this were the UK or somewhere else they take trains seriously, that would be an option.

I have travelled with my cat in the car for years and not once would she go down to the pedals. She tried to jump out of the window one night when I was stopped by some cops who were checking random cars. The cat didn't get far, she was on a leash , which I grabbed when she jumped. She made it halfway out of the window, then I gently pulled her back in. The cop probably thought that it would be too much stupid paperwork if he'd react to this scene. So he pretended it never happened, cat and I were on our way a minute later 😂
@@smule77 🤣 In my case she tried to hide under the pedals when I put her in the car because she thought I was taking her to the vet. I used a carrier after that.

Hahaha, I think it’s partly because of all the horror stories about long distance buses-like, very long distance, traveling across the country. Intercity buses don’t have quite the same sketchy reputation. Though still a little sketch in some areas.
Mostly we just live in fear of the unknown. 😂😂
Most people who take buses do it because they don't have any other way to get where they're going. Take from that what you will.

As someone that uses busses, bike and walking to "drive" from a to b ... that hits the point XD
But as a German I missed the train ... but as an inside joke, the train is always late so ... nervermind 😂
The train didn't make it in the video because it was late.
The boat didn't make it because there was no water.
The motorcycle didn't make it because the user acted like he's the main character and ran into a truck at 300km/h.
The e-scooter didn't make it because it was stolen.
The helicopter and spaceship didn't make it because they exploded.
The horse didn't make it because it was sick.
The hot air balloon didn't make it because there was no wind.
The zeppelin didn't make it because... you know.
The snowmobile should be there in a couple months once there's enough snow.
The tractor is on its way, no need to be so impatient.

The bus is accurate. Went on a trip on Greyhound with my Dad to New York once, and he lost his phone. Someone more than likely stole it because he never found it. It was also like a 15 hour ride which was pure agony for 10 year old me 2/10 only because sight-seeing opportunities. Other than that it sucked

If there were actual bike lanes, Bike would be much more pleasant. Riding on the sidewalk is illegal (not everywhere, though) and the street is unsafe. Regardless, you'll have people yelling at you to use the other one
Bus was easily the most hilarious. But I literally almost got run over by 2 different bikes walking my dog this morning and him flipping of the screens felt soo spot on 🤣

It is. Limited train stations to stop at. I get stopped by railroad crossings regularly and they are always cargo trains. Train tickets literally cost more than airline tickets.

Bike's character here is a beautiful depiction of privilege blindness. The bike character is claiming all the privileges that cars actually have in reality but that's considered justice because we're used to it.

Very amusing but also VERY american. Buses are super convenient in some other countries plus whatever happened to trains? I know the US doesn't have a great network, but watching this from the UK, I think I would have picked the train unless there is one of the many strikes going on. lol
Sometimes a 2 hour car drive would be a 5 hour train ride where I am from 😭

The Bus character was insanely accurate. I rode a Greyhound from Nashville to Ohio and the drive up consisted of a family of Amish people and a lady that let me pet her pet rooster. The drive back down wasn’t as interesting save for a prostitute arguing with the bus driver before we left, but I *did* find out that you shouldn’t buy snacks at the Greyhound bus hub since I found a strange white residue on the second Swiss Roll in the pack I bought.

Bike acted the way drivers act towards bicyclists....and other drivers.
I feel Bus could have been more authentic if there was a person right behind him blaring music while trying to take up as much space as possible.

Hot take, Bike being perceived as unruly is moreso a problem with having too many cars on the road for bikes to fit in well, and not enough dedicated bike lanes because things are too car-centric. The fact that Car and Plane are the only candidates for the trip emphasizes the problem of North America being car-centric, as opposed to certain places in Europe or Asia where you can get anywhere with trains and subways.
It would be nice to have those amenities in US. However, those places in Europe and Asia have much higher population densities and they can justify the expense. But in US, unless you are on the coasts or in a big city with extensive suburbs, you will have a lot of peddling to do to get anywhere. For example, the nearest city over 500,000 in population is four hours from me.. and I live in central US, east of the Mississippi River... not the middle of a wilderness.

Legitimately, I was walking down the sidewalk today and a bike came racing down, nearly knocking me over and I had to jump out of the way. He almost ran over me like a tank. I started laughing hysterically.

The average American doesn't count the train as an option. They're slow, unreliable, and mostly only go to cities.
In the US, trains take almost double the time to get anywhere. It's a 13 hour ride from Denver to Salt Lake City. You can drive it in 8 hours. We would love to have European train system!

@linmonPIE The big problem is that Amtrak usually uses the same tracks as freight trains, which don't make for a fast or smooth ride.
Bus: I got a bathroom in the back.
The couple: It's cramped, it smells BAD, and you can't wash your hands! We have to use hand sanitizer, and that's it.
Like, I traveled by bus a few times and only used the bus bathroom once. I was desperate, and its a good thing I used it when I did, bc shortly afterwards we almost got in a wreck. 😅

When all of your tracks are controlled by like, three freight companied, passenger trains get kinda fucked over.
Amtrak is really just seen as a novelty thing. It almost always ends up being cheeper and faster to fly then to take a train sadly.

I once saw some guy stab another guy at the Greyhound station in Fresno, CA. Best 14 hour trip of my life, pure adrenaline.

Bus ride, isn't that the truth. Years ago my son took the bus to go see a friend in Arizona and on the way an obese man had a heart attack in the bathroom. He fell to the floor and they couldn't get the door open to get him out. They had a six hour wait at a station. And that was only one experience on that trip.
