Bull moose approaches and checks out photographer and PABR Institute founder, Dr. Amy Novotny

A bull moose approaches landscape and wildlife photographer, Dr. Amy Novotny, before she could back away on Christmas 2019. The moose came up the small hill in the Tetons too quickly for Dr. Amy to move and keep a far distance from the moose. She chose to stand as still as possible to show submission to avoid spooking the moose and minimize danger to herself, others or the moose. She normally keeps a safe distance from her wildlife subjects both to protect herself as well as the wildlife.
