How did u remove the first top hose from the housing
Not sure if I got the issue with the thermostat. Why did you change it?
Fan was coming on and off at different times and not working properly.
Since you couldn't bleed the radiator, do you still recommend to take off the skid plate?
Not necessarily. Just add coolant start the car and keep your heat at high let it cycle
FYI, it's not a sensor on the thermostat housing. It's for an internal heating element to bypass the t-stat's normal operation when engine is still cold but under heavy load. German over-engineering at it's best.
