Great vlog, also live in the now! there are so many great ps4, switch games to be had for cheap that are as fun as ever, plus a lot of it can still be find in the wild vs having to resort to shopping online. Ppl have to remember there were millions of these games made, you will eventual come across titles you missed from past gens.

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoy my newest discussion topic. There are some great PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch games to get and they're very cheap. Now is one of the best times to buy PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch games as they're being phased out for 9th gen gaming consoles. Once Nintendo announces their next console, you know they will stop making games for the Nintendo Switch, just like they've done in the past with previous generations. I run into PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One games a lot while out game hunting.
I would agree that people should remember how many millions of copies were produced for a lot of these older games. You will eventually find most of these games if you have a little patience. Thank you for checking out my newest discussion vlog, I really appreciate it.

Jeremy: thanks for the shout-out. I very much enjoy your "conversation" videos because they remind me of Dean's content. For example: As a viewer interested in vidgames, I really don't want to hear of intricate plot details, in depth character analysis, or detailed gameplay strategies for said game. Instead, I want to listen to the RUclips content creator tell me how the overall game experience was. Did the game move you? Did it's quality surprise you (in a good or bad way)? How does it compare with other games in the genre? What did you you FEEL when playing it? If it's a very special game, any personal anecdotes related to when you initially picked it up, first started playing it, or during the middle of your playthrough. 95% of the channels don't accomplish these utter basic parameters! Dean does. Your channel does. IndustrialGamer does. But next to no North American channels engage in this simple dialog. A content creator like Luke Stephens can literally deliver a 3 hour "critique" on a specific game, and not accomplish what Dean can cover via conversing on said game for 10 minutes. Seriously. I don't know if it's a Zoomer/Millennial thing, or if these content creators don't actually play the games at all, but rather consult a Wiki page for their version of "cliff notes." Because that's what 95% of these gaming videos come off as: Someone reading a Wiki page. *Boring.* Thank you for touching on this very subject, in this video. And niice pickup on that 3DO at $30! Yeah, retro hardware/software wasn't coveted back then. Take good care. Vin

You're welcome for the shout out Vinnie. I do love my discussion "conversation" videos that I've been filming and uploading this year. Dean's channel is definitely a very unique experience that you will not find in most gaming channels on RUclips. It's one of the main reasons that I was drawn to subscribe and watch his videos. So many gaming channels these days try so hard to come off as a high production value, professional video dissecting video games and their stories. They end up being soulless experiences that feel like a non gamer wrote the script and filmed the video.
I agree that I would much rather watch a video where the content creator shares their own personal experiences with playing their video games. Its the main reason I created my Weekly Gaming Playlist series that I film and upload each week. It's funny that In the very beginning of the series, there was a comment left on one of my early videos, where I had someone that thought I was filming reviews of the games I was playing and they appreciated my thoughts. Now of course that's not what I was doing, but I think that's because no one else had a series like mine before. This series allows me to share my experiences with everyone and get good discussion going about actually playing the video games in your collection. So many people focus on the collecting aspect of the hobby, that they forget to actually play the games that they keep buying and adding to their collections.
Sadly you won't find many channels these days who will share true and honest opinions on the games that they supposedly are playing. I can tell pretty quickly in a video if the person actually played the game for more than say 5 minutes, or if they just read the video game's Wiki page. That's why I will not recommend you guys play a game unless I've actually spent time playing it. I've been watching a lot of Xbox 360 videos this year and I couldn't tell you how many videos had people showing games that they admitted in the video to have not even played once. They're telling you to go out and but Need For Speed Most Wanted 2005 but they haven't even played it yet.
"You have to go out to buy this game because it's popular and hot right now. If you don't buy it, you will miss out on a great experience. Now I haven't played it myself yet, but I've seen videos of it, and it looks great. I can't tell you what makes the game great, but trust me my friends, just go out and buy it"
lol...ok buddy I will get right on that. I want to know why I should add this "must own" title to my collection. What was the game like while you played it? what were the controls like? did it have great characters? what was the music like? how's games story without spoiling anything? Those are the kinds of things you answers you should be able to answer without much though.
I will be filming and uploading my Sleepy's Essential Xbox 360 video series. I will be sharing 5 games per video and by the end of the series. I will share 360 different games that I've personally played and enjoyed on the Xbox 360 console. I will hold up each game and talk a little bit about why I like the game and share a small clip of gameplay.
Thanks for checking out my latest discussion topic Vinnie, I truly appreciate it my friend. Yes getting the GoldStar 3Do for $30 was an amazing score back in the day. Stay tuned for my upcoming Xbox 360 series as well as other discussion vlogs coming soon.

high production, *soulless.* Yes, you feel me. Thanks for validating that point. And yeah, not to single out a Luke Stephens (they're practically all guilty of said crimes), but a 2 hour long narrative on Assassin's Creed Odyssey? This isn't seven seasons of Mad Men we're analyzing and dissecting. It's a video game. Are vidgames art? Absolutely they are! However, despite games becoming more story-driven in the past couple generations, with very few exceptions gameplay is still front & center, and story is relegated to the backseat (As it should be). Let's forego the literary pretentiousness, games aren't Mad Men, The North & South, or Tale of Two Cities.
I'll be going back and re-watching a number of your *playlist* vids. I do view them, in particular when you cover games in my genres. Wolfenstien New Order, RoboCop, Terminator Resistance, Far Cry, Alan Wake, and Import Tuner being a few of your standout episodes I remember enjoying. I'm just not into anything JRPG, anime, hack & slash (unless it's historically based ie Kingdom Come Deliverance, AC series, etc). As i tend to prefer western developed games.
You couldn't be more right, when you often mention the *collect vs actually playing games* paradox. I'm part of it. While I always collected (similar to you) collecting wasn't a personal "driving force" until RUclips went mainstream. Unfortunately YTs prominence in conjunction with becoming an OTR truck driver, resulted in myself being victim. When home time is very limited, it's easier to research and purchase a game over the internet, than it is to play a game. If only we could return to our 8-18 year old existences, with our entire vidgame libraries in tow! I'd never leave the house. 😁
Yes. Utilizing *NFS Most Wanted* as an example, I want to know the following: What camera views are available? How is the driving model? Is there car customization? How do the cop chases compare with other classic NFS titles? How does it compare with its less celebrated sequel (Carbon)? In likelihood, these type questions usually seem to go unanswered. Hmmm.
Man, looking forward to the 'Essential 360: Xbox 360' series of vids you have in the pipeline. Sidenote: do you play the *Trials* games or any other XBLA titles? Take it easy.

You're welcome Vin. Some people do fall into over analyzing the video games they play. They end up not enjoying the games that they play and that's a real shame. I hope you enjoy re-watching some of my older episodes in my weekly gaming playlist series.
A lot of people do fall into the buying and collecting video games, over actually playing the games that they buy and collect. Time is definitely one of our biggest obstacles to overcome when it comes to enjoying the games in our collections. I played so many different video games while I was a kid. No responsibilities besides going to school and playing games, those were the days lol.
I do love that Need For Speed Most Wanted game. I need to go back and finally beat it after all of these years. I do enjoy when people share their personal opinions on the games they play and not just what they read on a Wiki page.
I can't wait to start filming those videos for my Essential 360 videos series. It's going to be a lot of fun to film and talk about some of my favorite games in my Xbox 360 collection.
I do play some of the Trials Games and I own decent collection of XBLA titles, I'm going to be buying more soon thanks to the new digital sales Microsoft is having now. They have two more planned this year, one in June and one in July on Xbox 360 digital stuff.

Today I got both Outbreak Games for PS2, I haven't tested them yet. The cases and the discs are in great shape but they didn't came with manuals but that's okay, now I'm saving money for Luigi's Mansion 2 that will come out next month.

Hello Miguel my friend. I'm glad to hear that you received both copies of The Resident Evil Outbreak games. That's a bummer that they don't include the manual, but at least you can play and enjoy them. I hate to buy games without the manuals, but sometimes you have no choice. I always just keep an eye out for another copy that has the manual or sometimes you can find sellers online selling just the manual, that you can buy to complete your copy. It's good that the discs and cases are in good condition. Luigi's mansion 2 is going to be a great addition to the Nintendo Switch's library. Thanks for checking out another one of my discussion topics bro, I do appreciate it.

@@AsianSleepy I just tested both discs and they run great and they are in English, I can't wait to start playing them. Yeah, it's a bummer the cases didn't have the manuals but it's okay, at least I can enjoy the Games, hopefully we will see a Remake in the Future?

Hey sleepy, im the same way i buy games that i want to play, i collect only games that i enjoy and not for the value of the games.

Hello my friend, It's always good to hear from. Yeah, these days I just can't spend the money on a game that I will never actually play. I enjoy having my collection because I can play through them and have a blast. I don't get any real value from a game by just staring at as it sits on my shelf. I have to be able to play the game to enjoy it, and get the full experience. I appreciate you checking out my latest discussion topic.

Thank you my friend, this topic has just been floating around in my mind the last several years. It's really come to mind the past few months, as I've seen the Xbox 360 market just skyrocket. I haven't seen a console's library go this crazy since people started getting back into collecting for the Nintendo GameCube a few years ago.
Yes, it's hard to watch a video of someone recommending a game that they've never actually played or have only played for a few minutes. You can tell when someone is recommending you to buy or play a game and they never actually played it. If you can't tell me the main protagonist's name, a basic summary of the story without spoiling the story of course, the basic gameplay, controls etc. Then you shouldn't be recommending people to play those games. I will only ever recommend people play a game if I've actually played it. It's one reason why I enjoy my weekly gaming playlist series that I upload on Fridays. I talk about and share the games I'm currently playing with everyone and share my thoughts on whether I think you guys would enjoy playing them. I would never "fake" a game recommendation to anyone.
Thanks for checking out my latest discussion vlog, I really appreciate it.
