You throw back these huge trout like you have been there and done that before! LOL I would be taking selfies and sending them to all my friends. Heck Yeah!
My buddy and I went to Cedar Springs today. As u mentioned the bite was tuf. We limited out of course but only 1 on a spinner. Plenty of fish and heavy crowd. Only saw one other limit caught. Most folks only caught one or two. Lot of chasing going on and low water didn't help. Had to resort to Garlic Corn, but, still pulled it off. On the way out Blue Springs looked packed as well.5 guys on the Dam.
I've got one in a Rainbow pattern and I've only tried it once while fishing for Arctic Grayling in Alberta. They'd follow it and look like they were interested but nothing took it. Gonna have to try it back home on my neighborhood trout. Another great video 👍
Nice, I've been skeptical of the minnow. I been getting my fish on the spoons lately. I would probably prefer the torpedo though trying new lure/baits is always fun.
Both very pretty looking spinners, and both very pretty looking trout, I haven't the possibility to go fish trout in rivers so thanks for this videos ^^
I do have something in mind that you may be interested in using for trout. They are called Uncle Buck's hellgrammite pre-rigged baits. They do come in two colors, one is pumpkin seed and the other is dark smoke, Red Green. They work pretty good with trout, crappies, panfish, perch and bass. Who knows I think they could be good for other species of fish as well. Another great video and I enjoyed it.
Today was tough for me and my bud. I had a few follows on my custom spoons (pink stripe with pink tail). I was the only one to catch a nice fat 13 incher (they get up to 30 inch where I go) cutthroat on once again, a pink tassie (also a few follows on it). We didn't go to our normal place which just got stocked and where my bud caught 27 yesterday. I wanted to go but he didn't about an hour and a half away. Some people, you know, have to work 50 hours a week. He can just fish anytime he wants.
I've always been interested in that Minnow Spinner but never committed to buying it. Like most trout fishermen I usually stick to my go to baits and lures.
Most the time I can do good on spinners but last year tried wouldn't hitting them that well I normally carry 15 different colors of Joe flies and they won't touch none
I like a minnow body spinner. I feel like they get snagged on the bottom less. I don’t know if the body adds some float to the lure or what. My go to is the Renosky sonic minnow,it’s got me some nice browns. I also had a Panther Martin minnow, the damn thing casts so nice that it now lives in a tree across the river.
Thanks for watching!
Heck yeah!
My guy I heard your stomach growl on this video just as I was eating and watching and I was like no way that's my stomach scraping itself lol
This is the best lure ever you can literally catch EVERY species of fish there is with it
Yeah I use it ALOTTT ,and Everytime I catch monster trout normally
I hate the slow fishing days with little to no bites, but still enjoy the time out in nature.
Heck yeah!
You throw back these huge trout like you have been there and done that before! LOL I would be taking selfies and sending them to all my friends. Heck Yeah!
Thanks for watching!!
Have kept one of those trout spinners in my kit for years, definitely has it's moments.
Heck yeah I bet!
Been using these for years caught a 3.14 brown this year on a heavy fished stream to put it down I put a split shot bout 8 in up keep casting

Sounds about right! Hopefully the bite gets better as the cooler days continue
Great lure, I've used it for twenty years.
Heck Yeah. Love fishing for trout with spinners. But sometimes they want other lures alittle more.
Yeap! Thanks for watching!!
I just haven't had the luck I'd hoped for with lures in my local streem. Constantly watching and learning from you, even on slow days. Great stuff!
Thanks for watching!

Me too!

Agreed!
Tough day on the creek! But it still beats a good day in an office!!!! ;)
Agreed!
Had similar luck today using inline spinners but I still loved tossing them around
Me too!
I have a very similar lure to that minnow. Use it in saltwater for seatrout, they love them.
Both very pretty looking spinners, and both very pretty looking trout, I haven't the possibility to go fish trout in rivers so thanks for this videos ^^
Thanks for watching!
I have always like Blue Fox spinners. Especially the Super Vibrax.
Heck yeah!!
Never used that lure...great job! you caught some beauties!!! 👏👏👏
Thanks!
great stuff have you tried the rapala count down minnows yet or micro rebel minnow baits there trout killers
Yeap! One of my latest videos was on the CD-3 by Rapala
Just ordered me a few in the 1/8 size! I like the smaller profile. Nice video!
Thanks!
I got 2 nice steelheads today, 29 and 32 inches... They like spinners so this give-away is great timing... LOL
Nice!
Nice first fish.
Thanks
I got a minnow spin a while back, have had a similar experience. In that it looks great in the water to me. But I have hardly gotten a bite on it.
Yeap!
Another awesome video! Can’t wait to throw some nrv baits on my new rod and reel
Heck yeah!!

@@NRVOutdoors you're very welcome
I know that feeling more often than not lol
Thanks for watching!
I've always thought the hook on the vibrex minnow was unnecessarily large. Smaller hook with some dressing would be ideal imo
Nice lure
good fun as usual!
Thanks for watching!
Blue Springs is one of my favorite places but sometimes the bite is tough for sure.
Yeap!
Heck yea buddy I have tried some of your techniques and most work I really like the Berkeley crawlers they seem to work well in pa
They are great!!
The vibrax rooster tail is my favorite spinner to use for streams like this.
Heck yeah!!
Nice size trouts!
Thanks!
Never saw that one looked like a rapala at first. Awesome video this time I’m winning 😅
Heck yeah
Nice fishing my man
Thanks!
That was a tough day of fishing there.
Yeap!

Don't blame ya!
Is that the same rainbow pattern as the rapala?
Very similar yes
Awesome! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Another awesome video.
Thanks!
Just got one myself last week.

Heck yeah! Thanks for watching

We're you here on Saturday or was it today ? I ask because I had a couple friends that were there today.
A few days ago
@@NRVOutdoors ok thanks
Great video, thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
another informative video!
Thanks!
How do you keep your Flouro from bird nesting? :)
Unfortunately there's no easy fix. Many prefer adding a swivel to prevent line twist
@@NRVOutdoors Great video as always! I have been using braid with a flouro liter now since my straight flouro did not work out :)
I recently got 2 pickerel on that minnow spin. They demolished it.
I have used the mepps but not the fox look like it works
Heck yeah!
Fishing or "catching" - this video is a great example! Thanks for keeping it "real" and not "catching" a fish on every cast.
Definitely dosen't happen like that every day!
Nice fish
Thanks!
Would like to try a Trout Torpedo on the local Panfish, bet it will work. I did whack some Gills on the Creek Bugs, they hammered them.
Heck yeah!! Thanks for watching
Spinners work best in fall surprise they didn’t do much today
I know right!
Great vid again
Thanks!
Too hot here for trout, miss grilled trout... But that lure looks great, little extra weight for good distance.
Heck yeah
Awesome
Thanks for watching
