  • Some handheld and Gimbal 6K shoots from a golf event.
plus few drone shoots with the lake reflection :)
Super lightweight set up for events, with Sony G master lenses:
    14mm, 35mm, 50mm, 70-200mm
Still trying to figure it out how to colour grade XOCN LT...
this is my first time to work with it, but I am super exited to dive in deeper!

Nice shots How do you compare the image quality between your FX6 and the Burano?

Fx 6 is really good. Burano better in colour and dynamic range. clear and nice in details. 6K is a bit softer but I like it for fashion. User experience is another level. FX6 feels like a toy camera next to Burano. a bit overpriced but al in all I am happy with it.

How are you finding the dynamic range in real world use?

It feels better than FX6, surprisingly good. I am super happy with the image quality. Stay tune for 8K 1 fps Timelapse test!

Nice images but not sure if Burano is the right camera to shoot golf due to its slow rolling shutter readout speed. You were clever in the way you frame your compositions but, probably, you are going to find lost of scenes where you can see artifacts on the movements of the golf clubs.

Many thanks for your comment. To be honest, I am filming lots of sport: Skiing, snowboarding, MTB, running, ... I was worry about rolling shutter a bit.
I haven't found a single shot where I was thinking it is unusable. Filmmaking is a journey. I had time where I was looking for perfection.
Now, I am looking different things in my images, specially the general characteristic and feelings.
My clients and general public viewers, they has absolutely no ides what is rolling shutter performance :)))
Filmmaker community is going very critical on Burano ... few things missing and not the best for sure.
But, more I use it, more I started to love it.
Working with Burano is joy, pictures quality is really nice.

@@mediaproductionbk Good to know, and yes, when Burano is in the right hands it shines, keep the good work.

I would agree with @mediaproductionbk .. i have been shootiing on Burano for a couple of months now and havent had any issues with RS. I even shot a high energy hip hop dance video on a steady cam with rapid movements and shots looked great. People really have blown this issue out of the water. I shoot on Alexas Reds Canons Sonys and so far Burano has stood up to every test ive thrown at it

Same! I own a Sony Burano and have never once had any issues with the rolling shutter readout speed, it's not even noticeable. Rolling shutter for me isn't that important, when I'm shooting commercial work it's very controlled and it's not like I'm throwing the camera around to notice it. I think a lot of people have a lot of negative stuff to say about the Burano but would be amazed when they actually shoot on one.
