Meghalaya is known for some beautiful natural pools. We came across such pools on the Um Jug river stream. Day 02 on this hike was all about getting into a beautiful valley and eating Pork for the first time on this Speed Hiking trip.

Meghalaya has some amazing plateaus too which can be accessed by beginners. The rivers and the trails are all beginner friendly and good network connectivity is amazing.

What temperatures was it night and day. I'm surprised to see you guys in down jackets.
Night temperatures went upto 5 degrees. Feather jacket is a must for December - Febuary in Meghalaya
