Wait…. Is this why the mosquitoes are randomly awful in soma???
And yet they leave all the human waste and drug encampments because that’s not a hazard at all…
Did writing that make you feel better about yourself? Great. Have a 🍪.
Why doesn't the city go ahead and abate the hazardous conditions and place a lien on the property title for the costs? Then worry about the lawsuits.
Someone in charge probably died.
Nooo most likely ran outta $$$ /credit banks stop givin out a lines of credit during the pandemic
It's called economy dying keep voting for Biden and Harris you will see a lot
the homeless/drug dealers is also in violation of local and state health and safety codes that the city has created
SF is becoming exactly as those other parts of the world, you been asleep?
It's the tell tale sign of the beginning of a ghost city
ummm... malaria anyone?
Name of owners? Are they local or foreign ? Too many absent landlords.
Theyre from China. Where all of them are from. Then they abandon property to leave it in limbo so american citizens can't purchase or have it vacated.
1:18 they list the names of the defendants.. a "Xiangxi Song"
I'll tell you what is stagnant in SF, the present government. All Democrats with big salaries. Vote Red.
LOL!!!! Because the Repub party is such a shining standard of truth, justice, and the American way!
@josiahbirthright24 Did the party give you that talking point?
They have so many other major problems
I'm surprised there isn't a mob of HOMELESS people gathered there using it as a DAY SPA.
A pond is more serious than the crime, homeless, and litter in SF? Ok.
Keeps the homeless out. I like it
They'll find a way to use that lake
Out of country buyers can care less about tickets.
That looks like a Public swimming pool in San Francisco🎉
I was walking by this the other day and was astounded. Most of the real-estate in SF is owned by people outside of this country. They have no reason to think twice about San Francisco. Our lives are just a shell game to them. This (along with astronomical rents and thousands of vacant buildings) is what you get.
Got any proof for your foreign ownership assertion?
City should buy it and build the apartments or make it a park.
It is already a nice park with a water feature. Did you not see the wildlife thriving?
The owner is trying to find the right palm to grease.
The environmentalists love this sort of thing
Why don’t they take it over as public domain and resolve the issues themselves. They should have be e already been to court.
I thought SF wanted more parks and natural settings.
It's privately owned property. It's not a public park property owned by SF Parks & Rec.
Homeless tent, rv's....free bail for felons..... but get the one's with $$$$$
Pour hydrogen peroxide in; no bleach or oil or soap; a week later put put tilapia & gold-fish in there, add fresh-water-clams & cat-tails, everything's fine till it becomes an urban-park with premium-payed-parking & hourly tows for profit..
Worst city attorney at full display who is handpicked by London Breed. That is all you need to know about David Chiu competency
Should fill with more water and install a few houseboats- problem solved!!
Looks like a fun pool. Do you hate fun?
Misquote fish
SF should purchase the lot and naturalize it as a natural space in SOMA. But I guess the owners should be responsible and clean it up or donate it back to the city to deal with.
Confiscate that land and build a bunch of tiny homes for the homeless.
What's the beef? Spiffs up the neighborhood imo.

In a civilized society, eminent domain would have already allowed the city to take over this public nuisance property and develop it or sell it... but we live in a "free country" with "rule of law" so this doesn't happen, unfortunately.
I hear North Korea is nice this time of year
How to tell a doofus doesn't understand due process.
"Civilized"?

Sf got Democrated 😂
How's the weather in Russia, Vlad?
Are you under the impression that Republican governments are well-known for cracking down on negligent property owners?
Yes since the 70s.. are you new?
😂
At least the shutdown got mail-in balloting to become the norm. Turnip got expelled from office and things got better immediately. The stockmarket is at now an All-Time High and the homeless problem is getting solved. Drove down Van Ness yesterday, glanced at 4 alleys and there were NO tents or filth or strung-out people.
I would be more worried about not being attacked and not walking on needles or human waste
This is America if Kamala wins.
This pond of muck is nothing compared to what is on the sidewalks of Frisco. A stagnant pond is nothing.
Calling it “Frisco” shows you know nothing of the actual city of San Francisco.
@@Specialk6894 I lived near Frisco 1966-1976. But Haight died in 68 and Frisco earned by undying contempt by 2000. And I lived in, went to UC Santa Cruz c.1976. So I know "Liberalism"
Supposed to be housing you say? Dump the so called homeless there. Let them drain the pond and deal with it.
I would add an appropriate response to your "dump the homeless" comment, but you're not worth it!
