Pyro fuse on positive side of battery terminal blown, it is located within the battery positive terminal. You can temporarily push it back into place or just change the positive battery cable lead to a unblown used genuine or new terminal.
100% pyro fuse assuming it doesn't have ghost. You can temporarily follow the positive cable down to the junction box, undo the positive cable from the junction box and you should be able to bypass the fuse by attaching the positive cable to the other side of the pyro fuse taking that out of the circuit. Car will start after doing this. Its a safety device which cuts off the power to the engine in the event of a crash. its a simple fix and doesn't cost a lot. Don't search for a bow M140i specific fuse as it will more than likely be the same as 116i but cost more. Just search for the part number and you should have a range of options. Also, I appreciate you making a video in the cold and rain! Thank you!
Just a suggestion replace the hood hinges as well cause I've seen a good few videos of people replacing just the hood and then having panel gap issues cause the hinges bent with the hood
@MickRebuilds Yeah that's a very good point I wasn't thinking, You're probably have to reprogram the battery system afterwards. BTW I think you need a new Pyrofuse too 👌

I will give it a try fingers crossed 🤞 it works 🙏
I would check pyro fuse. Located in on the battery positive terminal
Front crash bar is on the wrong way around tow hook should be on the rh side
Really 🤦♂️ so the leg might not be bent as much as it looks 🙏😂
@ one can hope

I will be doing I do have a new set in the garage I’ll change them over when I take the bonnet off for paint 👍
Pyrofuse? or a Ghost Immobiliser?
I hope it’s not a Ghost immobiliser 🙏
It's will be pyrofuse in boot mate
Or there could be a brake in in the positive cable under the car
I’ll try bypassing it see how I get on thanks 👍
Pyro for sure.
You should have just bought a trickle charger and left the battery connected.
Didn’t want to leave it unattended so it currently on charge in the house so I can keep an eye on it👍
