Hey creeps! Sorry for the amount of light glaring off the books and that the top of my head is out of frame for most of the video. I couldn’t see myself while filming so I had no idea. I hope you still enjoy the video! 👻🎃
It’s such a privilege to be able to relax and watch you share your plethora of genres. There’s something for every occasion and mood. Whether it’s spooky horror, gripping mysteries, nostalgic reads, there is so much magic in your library.
Not trying to blow smoke, but your channel got me interested in reading...at the age of 33. Lol I've read soooo much since finding your channel years ago. So, thanks!
Seeing you accomplish your dream of being a writer is inspirational to me. At 32 I keep absurdly worrying that I’ve left it too late, so I love seeing RUclipsrs fulfil their ambitions.
It’s never too late! I’m 30 and just now starting to get somewhere with my writing. Many don’t get their big break until they’re much older. Keep working at it. :)
There is no age limit for wanting to be a writer. Plenty of famous people found success later in life. Now, if you wanted to be an actor, that's a different story.
I feel the same as you. I really like to read Halloween themed books during October not just generic horror. This is a treasure trove of books hahaha and now I'm gonna have to get a lot of these I don't have 😅😂 you will always be the King of Halloween in my opinion!
Watched this with pen and paper in hand! 😂 I share the same gripe with you in:re Halloween book recommendations that are literally just horror books, as if they all have the same vibe. So needless to say I loved this video!
Thank you for the scam-free Halloween recommendations!:) I am totally going to buy TV Grime!!!!! Also, just had to tell you that I am loving your book, Fresh Hell!!! Just read this amazingly perfect sentence: "As soon as I step off the stoop, the crisp night air sinks its fangs into my skin." Such a great way to describe the autumn air!
Loved this video. It was so great to see you pull out Legends of Sleepy Hollow; your video review of that was actually the first video I ever watched on Library Macabre, followed by your review of Devil's Night, which you also mentioned. This year, I'm going to dig into Greetings From Moon Hill and Red Harvest, two books that have been on my TBR list for way too long. Of course, that's after I finish Autumncrow High: Fresh Hell!
Hi Cameron ,love your halloween book collection , looks alot like mine ,I'm reading some of the books in the pile now ,love Autumncrow ,worth reading during Halloween season 2023 ,love Halloween as much as you do ,keep up the great work ,
Cameron !!! Please please please can we get a map of autumncrow in one of the books ! Just finished fresh hell and I’m completely blown away. Had my very own high school nightmare. Great job!!
Congrats on your new book! I really appreciate this trip down Halloween lane with all these great book recommendations. Love your collection videos and look forward to more!
I love the Goosebumps library! Who am I kidding? I love all the books! I just finished a fantastic Halloween book - October Screams: A Halloween Anthology edited by Kenneth W. Cain. Next up on my Halloween TBR is Autumn Crow High: Fresh Hell. I can't remember the author's name though. 😉 Thanks as always for sharing your magical collection!
Love the shirt! I could spend days looking through this collection. I’ve had Hobgoblin on my shelves for a while.. I’m trying to get to it this fall. Very fun and informative video! 🎃
I can’t believe you took the time to pull all of these off of your shelves to show to us! Thank you so much! It was a delight seeing everything you’ve got to offer when it comes to this wonderful holiday! 🎃
This is a video I want to watch every year now! What a perfect collection 🎃Thank you for sharing this! Like you I was not a fan of some of Halloween Ends, but will say the adaptation of Halloween Kills was fantastic. If I ever need to re-home my French edition of Monster Blood I know where to send it! I've a book suggestion for you if you don't have it already, to add to next year's Halloween book hunt: Hag Head by Susan Musgrave. A very beautifully illustrated kids book.
Thank you for the lovely comment, Lydia! I’m glad to know the Halloween Kills adaptation was a good read for you! As messy as I thought Halloween Kills was, it was a damn fun movie! I’m looking forward to these novelizations. I do love those French editions! If you ever decide to pass it on, I’ll be happy to add it to my library. And as for Hag Head, I’ve never heard of this! I will look into it pronto. Happy Halloween! 🎃
I love watching you show your books. I picked up TV Grime and love it too! I've been a book sniffer my whole life and my children make fun of me every time I smell a new book. 😂 I am so jealous of your Peanuts book.
I would sit down every week for 1 hour just hearing you talking about books. Those videos are great too👍. Super nice to see the french editions of Goosebumps 🤗
@@LibraryMacabre Cant wait! I have your 2 books and Im from the UK. Im always amazed by your growing library. Always waiting for new contents like this! Thank you so much! Im always entertained x
I like your recommendations but I have to confess I was more interested in the piece of Fear Street memorabilia you had behind you through the video LOL!! What is that with the cover art for The Mind Reader on it? A shirt?...
Listening to your Halloween play list while I work on my journal for Halloweenathon and wanted to say you have a great voice and if you havent considered narrating books, you should.
Just wanted to update you: I read Pumpkin Light from Autumncrow last night and was amazed by it !! So beautifully haunting and I really was transported back to the time of the story Edit: I just finished Burnt Brownies and OMG THAT WAS EVEN MORE AMAZING!!!
Another great video! I really enjoyed seeing the Goosebumps books. Are you looking forward to the up coming new Goosebumps TV show staring Justin Long?
Hey man. Happy to see more books. Do you have any recommendations for books on writing? Just finished studying literature and now I’m trying to get started with creative writing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you😊📚
Cameron, definitely keep an eye out on Printed in Blood releasing an illustrated version of the Halloween novelization. It's been 40+ years since the original release and it looks BIG.
@LibraryMacabre XD Apparently I'm not original because everyone is talking about the novelization lol. I got the Making of the newest Halloween trilogy at the Halloween 45 Years of Terror convention and the author Abbie Bernstein autographed it right there. So that's something I'm so happy to have in my collection and man the photos are GORGEOUS.
i’m looking for this one very particular book from my child hood, featuring vampires , bats drinking the blood of a horse and drinking blood, the book was big on illustrations maybe even graphic novel style if i can recall the book is a paper back and the main color may be purple, idk if u can help me but thanks anyway
Your video deserves more views. Your ability to talk directly to the camera clearly, consistently and with confidence is a rare skill. Too many videos are ruined by awkward pauses or constant ums which thankfully you avoid.

I love “Witches, Pumpkins, And Grinning Ghosts!” I have the old hardback edition from when I was a kid. Apparently it’s a collector’s item now.
So lucky!! I’d love to find a hardcover one day.
Awesome video as always, Cam! Thanks for the "LEGENDS OF SLEEPY HOLLOW" shout-out!
You’re welcome, friend!
The video I needed today. Love these longer form vids!
Thanks, Michael! I’ll have another long one this Sunday if all goes according to plan. 🎃

Super nice to see the french editions of Goosebumps 🤗
Loved this video! So many things I want to read. I definitely need to pick up Season of the Witch - I love Salem!
Thank you, Amy! I hope you enjoy A Season With the Witch. And I hope those edits went well!
Cameron I see you are continuing your determination to keep me forever broke hahaha.
This was awesome and I have SO MANY of these that I want now lol.
You sold a copy of Red Harvest.
I bought TV Grime last week because of you. I do really love it! So many amazing Halloween episodes listed!
I need videos like this! thanks Cameron for uploading super love this content. xx

So glad that that copy of The Manse made it to a good home.
Yes!! Thank you for sending it. It’s wonderful to have a nice signed copy of it. It’ll be a part of my library forever 👻
@@LibraryMacabre Oh no, I didn’t send The Manse (I sent you the Lost Boys novelization) - it just wound up in your possession!
Love this! Thanks for showing us your Halloween books! Definitely checking some out! 🎃

The video I’ve been looking for! ❤️
I like your recommendations but I have to confess I was more interested in the piece of Fear Street memorabilia you had behind you through the video LOL!! What is that with the cover art for The Mind Reader on it? A shirt?...
Haha Great question! That’s a promotional stand that was on display in bookstores when The Mind Reader came out. :)
@@LibraryMacabre Very cool!! ;)
Listening to your Halloween play list while I work on my journal for Halloweenathon and wanted to say you have a great voice and if you havent considered narrating books, you should.
I loved ''when good Ghouls go bad" as a kid. I always thought it doesn't get nearly enough play or recognition
I agree!!
Just grabbed a copy of TV Grime. Such a cool looking zine!
Excellent! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do, Jim!
Just wanted to update you: I read Pumpkin Light from Autumncrow last night and was amazed by it !! So beautifully haunting and I really was transported back to the time of the story
Edit: I just finished Burnt Brownies and OMG THAT WAS EVEN MORE AMAZING!!!
Wow, thank you so much!!! 😁😁😁
I read Richard Laymon's Night in the Lonesome October a while ago. I remember it was a good horror book with gritty content, perfect for Halloween.
Sweet! I gotta get to it this year… or at least try to. 😂
In Chicago we have a cake called the apple , choco ,pumple cake. One of the biggest cakes in the country but the best.
Another great video! I really enjoyed seeing the Goosebumps books. Are you looking forward to the up coming new Goosebumps TV show staring Justin Long?
Thank you! I’m pretty apprehensive about the new show. But who knows, it could surprise me.

So...no-one's gonna talk about Cameron's Autumncrow t-shirt? Like does it mean that were getting merch soon??? 👀😅
Haha This shirt is one of a kind for now, but I’d love to have merch one day!
Halloween is almost here for 2024 and these would be some good reads. Happy Halloween all! 💀👻🎃
Hobgoblin is insane!! It's pretty bad but everyone should read it lol

Aww, thank you!! It's taken many years of practice. :)
You should get Zombie halloween I havenT read it. But people are saying it's really good.
Still gotta get it! :)

I’ve been wanting to read that one!
😈🎃
Whats the tea on Richard Laymon? Why is he controversial?
They’re just not PC, like most books from that time period. Also, there’s a lot of extreme violence that is just bizarre (a good thing imo), and a lot of sexual content.
His books are fun. But all the female characters are described by how their boobs look, how they bounce and move and pop out off their clothes 🤣🤣
44:53 You really shouldn't waste your time on Allhallow's Eve. I like Laymon, but that book is just trash 😆
So I keep hearing 😂
