I did 5.2 million for the year, but my RPM is way way lower. I only earned 1/8 of what she did, but I talk about horror movies. I don’t do patreon well or merch etc.
Excellent breakdown & video - learned a ton about the analytics and how to find info! I definitely agree with diversification of income streams (first thing I learned in insurance school: spread your risk), but also putting a big chunk aside for those lean times (also for retirement). And I like that you were dedicated to your house, because also, money isn't everything!
I am retired and I have to say, I learned at a very young age , to start investing in retirement and just investing overall. I did this for at the age of 18 years - I retired, I was able to retire a few years earlier. Years before that, I made sure to be Debt Free, way before retiring. That was the best advice I could give anybody. There's a lot more you can invest into and save money , etcccc. I just wanted to make my story short, because there were more that was done throughout all those years. Never put your money into one basket .
@@debbiec6216 exactly! I used to work with a girl who as soon as something was paid off, she would go buy a new one (phone, car, etc) and have another loan to pay off. We too are debt free & retired early. But we live pretty simply & travel full time.
I made 90% of my rev from Adsense. For whatever reason I havnt been able to build up my sponsorships, so I’ve just doubled down on ad sense, about $200k this year. But Ofcourse I feel beholden to the fluctuating ad rates so I’ll try and see about new sponsors. I wonder if you’re concerned with your ad rates going down as you’ve switched niches and get less views. Super happy for your success!
oh wow 200k is amazing!! that's awesome! my ads revenue has gone down SIGNIFICANTLY since the start of the year which is for 1, normal for January, but also the state of the world right now, it's to be expected. as for ad rates going down... absolutely not. my rates actually went up last year which is when the switch happened lol

yes I ALWAYS manually place my ads! if you look, sometimes they will add a lot of ads or have them like 1 minute apart?! that's not good for your viewership!! so yes I place all of them on every single video!
