I'm 61 years old and haven't been so obsessed about music for years. Yungblud has restored my faith in the energy and love and pure uplifting joy that really inspiring music can put in my heart. I start my day my listening to him and it sets me up for dealing with whatever shit is thrown at me at the moment. Lyrically wonderful, musically brilliant, performance just perfection. I bounce around like a geriatric loon, he makes me so happy. And yes, I might be old, but I relate to so much of what he's about. He makes me laugh, he makes me cry. He deserves all the praise and love in the world.

This song helped me last year to cope with the loss of a dear friend who committed suicide. He did it a week before his birthday and even planned all the arrangements for the funeral prior. He told everyone to come wearing casual and colorful clothes as it was a party to celebrate his life and not to grieve his passing. He had so much energy and youth even at the age of 72 I just imagined him dancing at his funeral standing on the casket singing the Beach Boys as he loved their music.
I just love how this song involves death and its title is literally 'The Funeral", but it actually promotes staying alive. Because when we're dreaming about how we wanna die, we might feel like no one pays attention and we're completely alone, and maybe this is a way they would care, but the song says "Nobody came", and so then what's the point of dying? Why not rather stay alive and live life for its small, everyday pleasures?

Same profile picture and Name. they were trying to scam Anna by saying super nice stuff, then they dropped a phone number, and when I texted it, they asked if I wanted a VIP ticket upgrade, in exchange for $200 via cashapp, when I told them their first cashapp link didn't work and I reported it, they sent me another, and it was a picture of some random girl. Its all obvious scam tactics. No official artist would ever use cashapp for ticket upgrades, much less drop their phone number on a youtube thread.

@@allendionnelastcall3749 well, stopped doing anything career related after he had his fall in 2019, which dislocated some of the medical stuff in his spine after his quad bike accident in 2003. Guy nearly died there, got medical help, then in 2019 he slipped and fell and dislocated the medical equipment in his spine.

I’ve never heard this artist before, until someone on TikTok used this exact song on a video. As someone who LOVES 80s New Wave music, this song feels so much like a modernized New Wave song. I love it. It’s super catchy, and that might be one of my favorite hooks in a long time. Glad I found this song; I should look more into them.

I’m pushing 50 years old, and heard this for the first time yesterday in the car returning from a Sisters Of Mercy concert. What a great song and I have had his albums on Spotify all day. It’s great that everyone, no matter what age, has found an artist that speaks to everyone. I would love to go to one of his concerts but I think I would feel real old.
Honestly, just do it! Yungblud is an artist, who speaks to maaany different people. The reason, he's so popular with my generation, is simply, that he brought rock back into the mainstream for us, but that doesn't make him an artist exclusively for that generation. I know a lot of people closer to your age, that also enjoy his music for the sake of it reminding of other eras of music and bringing out a nostalgia for it.
Go for it, your as old as you feel, and if anyone says anything just remember this, it's none of their god damned business who you are or how old you are, your as much a fan of him as they are they can't stop you going to listen to him live, only you can make that decision and why should you
