    Hole 1; par 4
Start your round off with this picture-perfect opening hole. Long hitters may be able to go for the green in two and reach the creek from the tee. If laying up with the second shot, stay close to the left-hand fairway bunker to set up a 70-100 yard third shot. Add a ½ club as this shot plays a little uphill.
    Hole 2; par 4
This short par 4 is not to be taken for granted. The left-hand fairway bunker is your best target off the tee with a fairway wood/long iron. For the second shot add one club, and take note that you will be generally playing into the wind. The green slopes severely back to front.
    Hole 3; par 4
Mountain golf at its finest with a dogleg left! Aim towards the 150 pole and try to avoid the left-hand side as this will block your second shot. Add two clubs if you are going for the green, shortest carry aim at the left side of the green. The green sits back to front, making downhill putts very fast.
    Hole 4; par 4
There’s more room than there looks from the tee! You're best to target the right and side of the fairway. Add one club for your second shot and aim up the right-hand side as green slopes right to left.
    Hole 5; par 3
A beautiful hole featuring Whistler Mountain in the background! Favour the left-hand side of the green on approach as the green slopes left to right. Drop one club to allow for drop-in elevation. The wind generally travels right to left on Hole 5. Helpful Hint: Our Bear House comes after this hole, it might be time for a beer after a navigating our challenging opening holes!
    Hole 6; par 4
Hole 6 begins with a dogleg left, with a right to left shape, ideal for a tee shot. The easiest second shot is from the crest of the hill, the yardage will play as normal. Aim to the right side of the green and plan to land the ball no further than front edge yardage.
    Hole 7; par 5
It's time to open the shoulders and swing away! Aim at the clearing in the distance, there’s lots of room down the right-hand side from tee. The fairway narrows as you approach the green, and the slope on the right-hand side of the green will direct the ball to the middle.
    Hole 8; par 3
Grab your camera! You’ve arrived at The Fairmont Chateau Whistler’s signature hole! With Whistler and Blackcomb Mountain in the distance, take pride in any pars or birdies here. Your safest bet is to play to the middle of the green. Take note of the wind and play the yardage!
    Hole 9; par 5
This hole consists of an uphill dogleg to the right. The bunker in the middle of the fairway is your target off the tee! For your second shot, if laying up, aim towards the tall trees to the left of the green. Add two clubs if you're going for the green in two. Take note, the green slopes left to right.

the 3rd hole is an absolute brute...you need to be as long off the tee as possible without being through the fairway...hole 4 is a beast...hole 6 is super hard...if you can survive the front 9, the back gets easier...its a very tough front 9

Just finished playing there for my first time. That front nine is no joke. Course is beautiful too.
