I actually liked the idea of Mikey being the final villain and I think him doing it to protect everyone woulda been great if executed well and imo it should’ve ended off with Mikey dying or even better sacrificing himself because it fits his character well. However I think it would’ve been better if it went back to where Draken and Mikey fought and went into that again but more seriously, would be cool seeing Toman split and some friendly faces on different sides

All I can say rn is the ending didn't work for me at all and felt sloppy but if you want to know a few things that went down after Tenjiku, I can tell you from what I remember
I'm gonna be honest, it would be much better for the manga to just end on takemichi dying and just it. Just showing that there's always a chance of it all going to waste - instead of a rushed happy ending that has no down sides, it just feels so unreal it kills me

To be honest i prefer to live in my tiny world where, to me, Takemichi died against Mikey and everything that came after that it's just his fantasy dream that came to him before passing I'm one of those people that loved the last chapters, i LOVED the final reveal, and It's cool to see what every single character would become in the future, but damn, why not saving this fanservice ending for an extra "what if" chapter? It's such an unrealistic and anticlimactic ending, it just doesn't feel right after everything you've read.
