      @@Red-mp3to not at all. I took it as you were having fun so no worries at all. I really enjoy making the videos if they help others. That is how I learned about this hobby is the sharing of ideas. Thanks for your kind words. More videos are coming.

    I learned to model in card stock a few years ago. Since then I've done 2 models I downloaded years ago when the Taylor's General store was still available. I also did another model house and both were HO scale. Back then I learned all about adding relief to the flat card stock. Since then I've recently downloaded the new free offering from Clever Paper Models which is the Silver City Tool Shed and the Haunted House in O scale since I've gotten enough Lionel 027 trains to make an 027 layout. I've got to order the tube squeezer from Amazon to add relief to the corrugated steel required in the Silver City model. I had some problems with page 6 of the Silver City model as my printer chopped off the bottom of the door frame. So I figured a way around the problem. I will make that door frame out of some thin balsa wood I have on hand. That's part of the fun of modeling in card stock. It can be very forgiving at times. I've been wanting to incorporate some wooden features into the card stock models. Cheers from eastern TN

    Looks Awesome already!!
    At 9:36 a little weathering powder might help blend that strip in👍🙂

    I see that you incorporated wood into the model but not as any features but rather for bracing. I would have used foam board for bracing and saved the wood for adding wooden features. I see that you have used some relief but I think I would have used a little more relief on the building fronts. Of course this is just my opinion and I try to model on the cheap. I've found that foam board is just about as steady as wooden bass strips. I also save all my old cereal boxes and beer cartons to use for card stock. Now that you have added the rolled roofing to the desk blotter I see that it has strengthened the blotter so it needs no further bracing. I would have used some paint to get rid of the white edges on the top and any area that you don't cover with trim. Cheers from an old modeler in eastern TN

    Cannot wait for the finished product. I’m kind of timid. I’m trying to process.

      Thanks for your comment. This process is not that difficult. Matching the colors can be a pain but using photos to model is a lot of fun. Looking forward to the final results. Thanks for watching and supporting my channel!

    You need to contact JAC JAC. I think he cancelled that contest due to nobody participating. HOWEVER I do like what you have done

    What kind of wood do you use for the bracing? Really enjoying the series!

    I have the older chopper like you. Is there a tea on you turned the mat moving the blade slot to the side. Does it help better cut the wood somehow?

      @NewHavenRails  Год назад

      I was cutting into the mat so turned it to get a fresh section of cutting surface. Not sure if it makes a difference. The chopper is a must have tool!

    How about some HVAC on the roof?

    Nice...but the building doesn't have any 3D depth....

      I added depth to the corners and garage doors. Window sills are next.
