  • Highlights of sightseeing flight in Juneau, Alaska onboard a DHC-3 Otter with Wings Airways in July, 2024.
The flight departs from the seaplane dock on the harbour in Juneau, flying south east down the valley before heading east-north-east and skimming over the Norris Glacier, Taku Glacier, Hole-in the-Wall Glacier, West Twin Glacier and finally the East Twin Glacier before returning to Juneau Harbour
All the aircraft in the Wings fleet are nicknamed according to the colour of their livery. Our aircraft, N753AK, was called "Orange Stripe" and was built in 1953 - the third De Havilland Canada Otter to come off the production line.
More information on this and the other Otters in their fleet on the Wings Airways website:

Her original radial engine has been replaced with a Garrett turbine and she has been impeccably maintained with modernised avionics. Easily one of the most beautifully maintained and presented aircraft I've flown on.
