Yeah he's been straying out of his usual movies. That started with Wrath of man, and tbh that's probably the only Guy Richie movie I don't like. I don't think him going outside of his usual movies is a good idea but to each their own.
@@bastymanguy I mean I don't blame him for trying to do other stuff. The only criticism I've heard over the years about his movies is "if you you've seen one Guy Richie movie you've seen them all". Imagine having that playing in the back of your head for 20 plus years.
Saw this movie earlier today . Personally it’s an important for people to go see . I highly recommend for people to go see this while it’s still in theatres . Well acted and well written. Guy Ritchie is a great director
There's a recent article I read about Guy Ritchie and how obsessed he is with the stories/lore/hospitality of the Middle East and how he literally stays living in that region, granted safe countries such as Gulf secure ones such as Emirates, and how he plans on making more films from there. Expect him to make more like this is what I'm trying to say I guess

Just finished watching this movie and without a doubt, it's one of the best movies I've watched this year. The action, the acting, the emotions, the directing, the film score, all of it was just fantastic and excellent. Something about this movie was very REAL about the way military stories and events happen. I don't know but inside of me, i feel this movie deserves an award, whether Oscar, Acadamy or Golden Globe. Just give them the credit that they're due
I was skeptical about this movie but never had I ever sat in a movie theatre where I was on the edge of my seat until today. I’ve just came back from watching this with my family and I gotta say, this is an absolute masterpiece!!! It really tugs my heart just thinking of the many other interpreters and those that helped us weren’t so lucky. Man after this movie, I’m never going to look at the world the same way again. In a good way of course! If you’re looking into rotten tomatoes or reviews from other RUclipsrs, I strongly recommend that you watch this movie! You will not regret it!
Excellent movie. Not only is this a great story with outstanding acting and action, it speaks of the importance of a covenant. So many people have forgotten that and so many governments have also forgotten the importance of following through on your word. Loved this movie.
Guy Ritchie's slick comedy/dramas are some of my all-time favorites, but his serious films are on a completely different level. If this is even half as good as Revolver or Wrath of Man, we've got a winner on our hands.
@@Barrrt My bad, dude. I suppose I should have said "I think it's superb" 😂 with all entertainment/art being subjective. I'm not saying it's perfect, but I liked almost everything about it. The storyline, the themes, the characters, the performances, the cinematography, the stylisation, the soundtrack. For me, there is a whole mood and tone to it that felt very well defined. It certainly has flaws, but I found the things it does wrong pale in significance to what it gets right. I didn't see it when it first came out, I only got around to watching it late last year. Didn't know much about it going into it either, other than: a Ritchie film, set in America, Statham starring, armoured trucks. I thought it would be half decent but it far exceeded my expectations. As I've only seen it once, to be fair maybe I won't enjoy it as much on a second viewing 🤷♂
A powerful, moving story featuring great actors, director, and a amazing storyline. It also shows friendship, promise-keeping, and sacarafice. It also shows the reality of situations soldiers and interpreters went through in Afghanistan and other countries.
Ritchie has been on an absolute tear lately. Him and Gyllenhaal have to make for a great one! The only thing that scares me is this trailer gives away way too much, and movies that do that in a trailer always end up being mediocre.
Another amazing movie of Jake ! Its must watch def worth it! Also Dar Salim Lets not forget to give him credit. Thank you all soldiers and to your family for all your sacrifices! You deserve so much better than this world we are in right now and I pray you find strength and peace . 🙏🏻

We appreciated having people like you around.. the danger you and your families faced just for taking that job was always present. Even with cultural differences we always made a way to become friends through our collective humor. You guys were very appreciated by us. I hope you are living well
This movie hit home to me and it will hit home for many of my fellow Marine warriors, who understand the sacrifices that these interpreters made for us, and for our country!!! Semper Fidelis…
Yeah, great frikin job mauling a nation under the pretense of maintaining global peace but in fact just to enrich your country with oil. Good frikin service you've just pulled there, amigo! You should be very proud of yourself.
This movie was amazing! I left the theatre still in shock by what I watched, I hadnt heard of the movie. I was on the edge of my seat the whole movie. So emotional! Thank you for making me aware of what our interpreters had to sacrifice to help us. God Bless them
I think so too! His work directing "The Man From U.N.C.L.E." shows he can pull off an old-school spy caper and films like this one could prove he can handle the same style the Daniel Craig era Bond films had.
This is the most incredible movie that I have ever seen in my entire life. I loved it tremendously. It shows the beautiful value of a true human being from every aspect of life. especially that it is based on a true history. There is no word to praise this excellent movie.
I am a simple person: I see a Guy Ritchie as a director - I instantly add the movie to watchlist. I love everything about his directing style and vision.
I saw this movie and man, it was awesome!!! Great story line, doesn't start off to slow, lots of action, and definitely kept us on the edge of our seat. It's definitely one of the better movies I've seen in a while, and I think right now it's super underrated. This movie, in my opinion, was way better than top gun, but top gun gained way more attention.
Yes i agree, this movie doesn't waste time from the get go, so many things happened just 20 minutes in. Loved this types of movie and it was Amazing till the end. One of Guy Ritchie's new Best!!!
I love these kinds of grounded movies where the story is focused on two central characters, a breath of fresh air from the convoluted save the world movies.
Hands down the best movie this year we need real cinema back like these are the type of movies Hollywood needs to make with real storylines and emotions
Absolutely outstanding!! These are important stories to share/tell. We all need to see and learn the value of saving, helping, loyalty, honor, and just being an all around good human doing what’s right regardless. Love it! It will bring a tear to your eye that’s for sure. I hope everyone goes to see this movie. ❤
When I read the stats at the end of the movie, it was difficult not to remember and tear up. I was not sure about this, even though I love Ritchie and Jake.

Ritchie has been on an absolute tear lately. Him and Gyllenhaal have to make for a great one! The only thing that scares me is this trailer gives away way too much, and movies that do that in a trailer always end up being mediocre.
