Unfortunantly Europe is like this in general, and Norway is the worst offender of this blatant racism. Even Germany, the most inclusive European nation still does stuff like this.
@rayexception4590 this reminds me of how many native American children were separated from their families and forcibly put into boarding schools, becoming disconnected from their culture and society. They were even given new names and forbidden to speak their native language. I know money is a reason Norway does this but do you think that they are also trying to turn them Norwegian (disconnect from their roots?).
Thank you for making this movie happy that’s your children back to you and India stand up for you, thousands of parents suffering in Swidden and Norway

I get the impression Norway is a somewhat Orwellian society and they are accepting as long as you embibe their culture. We met an Indian couple many years ago who had recently moved to our area in the US from Norway. They had a son who was about 6 and they often spoke of how awesome Norway was and frequently wore Norwegian style sweaters. They didn't find much success in the US and ended up moving back to Norway two years later. I think the moral is, Norway is a fine place as long as you drink their Kool-Aid.
How is it legal to take a child out of its home and run away with it just like that, that is literally kidnapping. Im so baffled this is legal. An organisation that is meant for the wellbeing of humans, especially child humans that does this. What? They are causing so much trauma for the children
After watching this movie i realised how westren countries thinking on immigrants…The Mother who struggled a lot for her children such a brave lady kudos to her🙏🙏
A lot of western countries? This was just Norway which was shown in the movie. It's a small country with less than 1% of the west's whole population. It does not represent the entire west by any means. For example spanking children is accepted to some extent in UK and USA but not in scandinavian countries so not all western countries are the same either.
The youth welfare office in norway destroyed their family. They put it like they want to guard the children but the truth is they did immense damage to the children and its their fault the parents separated and the family is broken. I hope sagarika and her children will heal and have a good life in the future without further disturbance.
Laws are made for people, not the people for laws. Authorities should show some intelligence while solving emotional cases like this. Authorities r humans & have brains & heart. Use them. She is a diamond lady who refused to take compensation even after such trauma. Special thanks to Indian Govt for standing with this diamond mind & gold heart lady. Lots of love from Pakistan.
Norway got problems with ppl from other countries. Don't take their children away if they don't agree with the way they are been raised, is different cultures. Sad that ppl go to that country seeking better opportunities but instead is a nightmare
Norwegian Authorities/ The child services or whatever its called, should PAY FOR WHAT THEY HAVE DONE! OMG the Trauma is beyond words! Im sure all those people that is involve (Especially those two social service girls) will get their Karma, they might be watching the movie right now and I hope you cant sleep and be ASHAMED OF WHAT YOUVE DONE to those families(because im sure theres more). 😡😡😡
No, the main culprit was the husband - his toxic behaviour was why there was a complaint about domestic violence from the neighbours, and that triggered visits from social workers. But he's living the good life (more 💰, better living standards) in Norway.
This is very troubling to say the least. It literally makes no sense. If she was abusive, why would you be dying to get your kids back all to just abuse them. I actually think if she acted like they wanted her to such as give up and walk away, that’s more crazy to me.

not sure which European country, I watched on Tiktok that this happened to the muslim family too where their children were taken away from their parents, because of cultural differences...this is a ridiculous system.
A sad story. But I wonder why the two children, who are still young and who both returned to India some 10 years ago, are not living with their mother Sagarika Chakraborty.
@@cg8397I've read several articles about the case online. Generally the journalism is poor and sensationalist. What is clear is what I said. After succeeding in gaining custody of her children, she and the children returned to India in 2012. However she left the children in the care of elderly relatives, even moving to a different town. I can understand economic pressures to work and provide. But the whole story does not add up. Of course the 2023 film had to make her the victim to serve the narrative film sales and fit the Indian government's nationalist agenda. It is sad that Indians, with so much history, culture and education, could not have produced a more reflective and nuanced film. So many Indians seek to migrate and have limited understanding of how things work. Often after a few years of working abroad, men return to India to be married. Their new brides may not be familiar with life in the West (usual scenario). The women may be housebound, stuck with young children without an adequate support system. That reality could have made for a more balanced film.
I think Norway should actually get themselves checked. This is just out of order like are u seriously gonna say that parents aren't parenting properly just because of them passing down their beliefs onto THEIR OWN children. I'm ashamed.
If you live in other country follow their rules keep your culture in your country. If a Saudi Arabia man kept a slave living in India will to allow it ?

Hats off to the Indian government for such great support 🙌🙌🙌I don’t think so any country will go to this level to protect their citizens🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
Such inhuman act from Norway. This country must penalise for such acts by UN
This is a white supremism mentality, the Nazi was only a scapegoat. Their hatred for non-white is inexplicable. We acknowledge that there are very few whites who also embrace humanity. Let's hope India also cleaned its act and bring humanity out of this dark time! 🙏 om 🕉
I think UN is ridiculous itself.
The thing is this is an organized crime...1. the Indian man "husband " should be actually penalised, passport seized " also the family should be black listed. 2. Where is UN???? 3. India should impose sanctions on this pathetic country.
Husband is just a weak human being who only worry about himself interest; getting Norway citizenship. He is a little abusive toward wife. At the end he was exhausted and don't wanted to fight the system. He commited no crimes!
@@sammas2959 wow such a peaceful husband he is !!! 😂😂 These kind of people not belong to india , i hope he should get Norway citizenship as soon as possible!!! 😂😂
@@sammas2959 being abusive is a crime sir.
@@impositive17_07 yes, taking children away is more so, a crime.
@@sammas2959 that is no justification for abuse.
Baapre....
Such a great movie it was....mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway... no other thing can replace a mother's love.... anyway proud to be an Indian....love for India ❤❤❤
After watching mrs chattergee vs norway, i tend to dtay miles away from norway !inhumane and cold blooded
Unfortunantly Europe is like this in general, and Norway is the worst offender of this blatant racism. Even Germany, the most inclusive European nation still does stuff like this.
Cold blooded people they are
@@rayexception4590 Not Poland , they give asylum to west europeans who escape with their child.
I have just watched the movie and I cry. I am a mother and I couldn't imagine when this happens to me
She deserved a gold madal of what she done to get her children back so proud😂her ❤
This proves mothers love is the best in the world ❤ and a mother can do anything for her children ❤ so respect your mothers
Am sure without the government’s support this wouldn’t have been possible..hats off 🙌🙌🙌
Her utter helplessness broke my heart.
Thank you for making this movie happy that’s your children back to you and India stand up for you, thousands of parents suffering in Swidden and Norway
I can't imagine the pain and the trauma she went thru..I got so emotional throughout the movie couldn't stop crying.Only a mother can understand this...and very well act Rani!! shame on her husband and in- laws to put her thru this why in laws are so problematic.. and very well salute to this mother who fought for her children like this...
I have experienced this. It only happens if you have a partner trying to sabotage things. It's a system and it's easy to break systems.
Well that makes sense since her husband didn’t care about the kids or her! Just evil, full of greed!
@@jesslivin_xo its not True, it also happens even if both of the parents are stable. White People are evil
Im happy her kids are finally back to her. I hope her finances get better soon. I wish someone could help her, she has gone through alot already.
Strong women you are ♥️
I am so happy that Indian government helped you.
hats off to you what a brave Mother absolutely stunning
How is it legal to take a child out of its home and run away with it just like that, that is literally kidnapping. Im so baffled this is legal. An organisation that is meant for the wellbeing of humans, especially child humans that does this. What? They are causing so much trauma for the children
Because Norwegians are leftists who think children are property of the state.
State funded kidnappings. It's all legal in the West.
Salute and respect to the mother AND the Indian Government !
I am worrying how many parents are still struggling 😢
??
After watching this movie i realised how westren countries thinking on immigrants…The Mother who struggled a lot for her children such a brave lady kudos to her🙏🙏
A lot of western countries? This was just Norway which was shown in the movie. It's a small country with less than 1% of the west's whole population. It does not represent the entire west by any means.
For example spanking children is accepted to some extent in UK and USA but not in scandinavian countries so not all western countries are the same either.
Head banging is a sure sign of autism and not child abuse..
And the Norwegians thought they know best. 😤
The youth welfare office in norway destroyed their family. They put it like they want to guard the children but the truth is they did immense damage to the children and its their fault the parents separated and the family is broken. I hope sagarika and her children will heal and have a good life in the future without further disturbance.
That's why I love my Country 🇮🇳. There is no hard and cruel law for their citizens and immigrants.
Barnevernet should not be allowed to take any kids from their parents. Its inhumane
Appreciate the indian government 🎉 they fight for a mother 🎉
Salute to you Sagarika ji 👏🏻👏🏻
Please no more case like this...please stop it all over the world!!!
Poor woman! What a nightmare! Western countries could learn a lot from Indian families.
Vice-versa. They need to respect non-white cultures.
Correct thats y never leave our own country...n miggrate n ...own country always the best
U see mothers love is the only love which unconditional, whole, and pure. father are just joke, man are most selfish.
I see that this movie also encouraged misandry.
I watched the movie and couldn't stop crying. What a wonderful mother❤
I think Norwegian rules and regulations needs to be updated and erase or obsolete this nonsensical thought process. Please grow up Norwegian govt.
Came here after watching the movie 😢😢
Norway got problems with ppl from other countries. Don't take their children away if they don't agree with the way they are been raised, is different cultures. Sad that ppl go to that country seeking better opportunities but instead is a nightmare
I went to watch Northern Lights in this country , am boycotting it forever
I have been crying endlessly while watching this 😢😢😢
Sincere thanks to madam sushma
Theres no way im gonna visit Norway for this inhuman act.
This was a lot to take, very sad indeed 😭😭😭,this is unforgivable
Who set this rule in Norway, excuse me 'children first'? They should put the money on parenting support instead of costing to the foster family.
I hope they return the children with their organs still intact.
Norway you can do better!
Remembering late Sushmaji with love and respect
Imagine. This small women without any grand finances or education, is fighting a war against a nation for HER CHILDREN. Shame on that husband
This happens in America as well.
Happens your America!! I don't know what America you're in.
I don’t think in American they snatch children off from their parents just because theirs cultural differences
There are millions of Indians living in the US but we never heard of a case like this so it clearly happens on a much smaller scale.
This is very troubling to say the least. It literally makes no sense. If she was abusive, why would you be dying to get your kids back all to just abuse them. I actually think if she acted like they wanted her to such as give up and walk away, that’s more crazy to me.
She wasn't, the problem was their father
Children cannot be witnesses of domestic violence.
Shame on Norway government and Norway country tis is not the way whereis un and everything... Another reason to believe why my INDIA is greatest among all 😍
India is not the greatest among all tho. Even if this story was 100% true it doesn't suddenly mean India is perfect.
not sure which European country, I watched on Tiktok that this happened to the muslim family too where their children were taken away from their parents, because of cultural differences...this is a ridiculous system.
Sweden. They are all the same
A sad story. But I wonder why the two children, who are still young and who both returned to India some 10 years ago, are not living with their mother Sagarika Chakraborty.
She has to work in Noida full-time to support them financially, their father's a deadbeat dad
This story is horrible, what the mother had to go through 😢😮
I never thought I’d say this but W Indian government, Norway has disappointed me greatly.
This movie should be dedicated to our sushama ji😘
Irony is that these countries are one of the happiest in terms of human development
Shame on Norway for this racial acts😑..
You are the world best mother for 4evr❤❤❤❤❤
Hats off you ma'am 🙏
As simple as possible
Government should not be using their brains in these matters.
Parents are the best teachers for their children.
No words 😢♥️
I cried from the bigging to the end ot the film unless iam amother too😩
Beautiful movie just watched it
What a movie!🙌
I wish at my time there were child wellfare authorities so that i won't have to gone throught mental trauma and still feel unsafe to share 😢😢😢😢
If you live in other country follow their rules keep your culture in your country.
If a Saudi Arabia man kept a slave living in India will to allow it ?
This scares me to even visit Norway. Never!
Nothing but cancer in that system and what a Deadbeat prick of a husband.
Glad it worked out for them and hopefully it puts light on what's been and still going on
Wow! Hats of to you!
Appreciate to the Indian Government that take this case seriously......
Shame on you 👉🏻so call husband and only concern about himself and put his family into trouble, the world is watching and know about you through this video.
disturbing! Norway government should be held accountable and must face consequences. This is not acceptable
Worst law than India. No sympathy and compassion. I don't think this kind of country should called progress country. May be progress in material but definitely not in humanity abd happiness of people.
Racist policy!
I am watching this movie now ,my blood only boils after seeing the agony this mother had to go through.
Doesn’t Matter Husband Cooks or Not...
That Has Nothing To Do With Child Endangerment or Child Abuse...
Guess They Were Trying To Use That As Sign of Domestic Abuse, Hmm? 🤔
They Had Nothing To Suggest, The Mother Didn't Know How To Take Care of Her Child...
He was abusive towards her, his behaviour towards her was affecting their children
Salute u, really proud of u
feeding your children with your hand is also cultural form in my country.. what she does in the movie seems so normal for me maybe because India and Indonesia are still in the Asian continent..
and I am still wondering.. is that very weird giving food woth your hand.. even adults eat by hand in here.. 😅
