Whoever lands Badger is getting a stud. Never got a chance to really show his full potential due to the QB situation. But dude is a baller and flashed his upside plenty of times. Big body. Good speed. Good body control. Route running and hand consistency are his biggest weaknesses. If he can clean those up, he's got good contested catch ability and good yac ability. Always a fun combo.

Any word on Christian Williams development?
He had a low HS recruiting ranking bc he didn’t do camps but all the big time SEC programs wanted him.

I agree that JZamendela should not be expected to contribute much this year.
Just because of semantics he’s listed as a “portal transfer” and many fans forget that he’s actually a true freshman.
Not realistic to expect t a true freshman OL to contribute much in the SEC.
Aim to RS him and have him ready to contribute in 2025 is the more realistic viewpoint

He was the #1 IOL in the HS recruiting rankings. No reason he can’t push for time as a 2nd unit guy.

@@sageadvice868 HS rankings mean nothing once a player steps foot on campus. He can compete all he wants for 2nd string however, he would still be better to redshirt (4 reg games he can still play in) and not waste a year of eligibility if he’s not a starter (which he won’t be). It’s highly improbable that he’ll be ready to play SEC competition as a true freshman and there are other guys with 1-3 years of more experience de ahead of him.

as much as i want another wr, no need to bring him in if theres any red flags. better be a culture fit and be able to pass a physical.

Badger is a cool guy. Just wanted to get away from the sh*t storm that has been ASU football. Stuck it out last year when he didn't have to. Just got to the point of wanting to bet on himself and put himself in a position to stand out. He's got a chance at the next level, but can't get any traction with inconsistent QB play year after year.
