But mam when nitrogen shares its lone pair to the hydrogen ion so how it acqires octet.
As mam said, the lone pair is shared by both nitrogen and hydrogen atoms simultaneously but provided by only nitrogen atom. Hence nitrogen acquires it's octet along with hydrogen.

I dont understand one thing. HCL is creating covalent bond, meaning they share there electrons to become duplet and octet. But how hydrogen became H+ and bond with lone pair of ammonia.
