This is an amazing watch! I live in Russia, but only recently got acquainted with this legendary brand Vostok, in Russia these watches cost very little. I bought the same model 720073. I was delighted that for 6000 rubles, (90-100) dollars I got a mechanical watch made of stainless steel and also with the WR200. I chose to wear Vostok instead of my old Baume&Mercier)))
I even like and enjoy the smell it comes with which is like working in a massive factory full of grease and oil. The watch definatly has a soviet charm and better value for money even than Seiko.
I typically do it once I get it scratched. Typically around once every 6 months. I actually just replaced the film on this watch a few weeks ago after I accidentally put a gash across it; the crystal underneath was untouched though.
Found your take n this watch so interesting that a bought one , the case being smaller than many fits nicely my small wrist . What is elegant is the crown and bezel that has a spacial finish , the dial face also looks much different than the majority in their line of watches , i think it simple but quite out of the ordinary . The movement is an old one but reliable with a decent loss and gain per day , not the most precise but for the price more than acceptable . I have a komandirskie and it looses 4 seconds , it is the same movement but less one complication the date so because of the movement in this one 72-73 model it should be similar in time keeping , any way i always adjust them on the time grapher when i get them . Finally it has style for a low priced watch .
@@PumpUptheJam81 It's a really cheap generic silicone bracelet. You can probably find it anywhere on AliExpress or Amazon. Just search for the size you need.
Yup! I think it adheres electrostatically and is basically unaffected by water or even spraying alcohol on the watch. You really have to pry with your nails to get the film off.

Вчера приобрёл такие)! Только циферблат 24 часа, непривычно определять время
The screen protector is a great idea. I just ordered this watch in the eggshell-white dial variant. I love these quirky little watches.
10 seconds a day is COSC standard of accuracy and therefore equivalent to a Rolex. Vostok like Rolex have a 10 year service interval.
Топ за свои деньги. Дешевле и качественней не найти
How often would you replace the protective film? I assume the little brown mark is from the protective film just to the right of the Number 7.

What is made of the black bezel? Ceramic? Plastic?
Where did you find that rubber bracelet?
