I was born in 1956. WE are really a lucky age. Popmusik was growing with us. And after that nothing. WE now mention, that already the second Generation loves our music.
This was the first record that I purchased from my paper round my money from a shop called Woolco in Bournemouth. Stone Cross is the B'side on the Polydor record label. Great stuff
First fell in love with this back in 71 when i was only 12yrs old. My Mum used to have boozy parties and i was brought up on all that great 60s and 70s magic
My sister bought this single when I was nearly 6 years old and always remember it .this December 2022 I will be 57 and still love it to this very day.brilliant music long may it live.
Ich liebe diesen Song. Ein wunderschöner Schmusesong. Da werden Erinnerungen wach. 50 Jahre her. Wo sind sie nur geblieben??? Ein wenig träumen tut sooo gut. 💖💖💖
This was one of the first records I bought with my wages at 15 when I left school. My brother took me to the record shop to get it. We loved going there and going through the records on the racks. I had it played at his funeral several years ago. RIP mate.👍
Thanks Phil wherever you now are.....for this brings back so many memories to me, some not so great but hey that's what memories are. Genius piece of music
Me to, i havnt heard it for nearly 50 years ago. I could remember the name of the song. And then i find it in German version. I have had the song in My head, but could not find it. The Best instrumental ever.
My darling Birdies - Daffodil, Snowy, Chloe, Daisy, Sparky, Rosy and Joey. I so hope that one day you or 'I will return' and we live together for ever and ever xxxxxxx
Heard this on the radio when I was 15 in Sydney Australia and has for some unknown reason spellbounded me ever since. So glad I found it again here. It seems to somehow have a spiritual dimension. I guess the title refers to the return of Christ.
This song is as old as i am. My aunt loved playing this from a 45 vynil and then she will always sing along and to this day it stuck with me. Aunty Francis my your soul rest in peace....
The Autumn Fall is here. Blessed be the Birds and indeed Nature and Wildlife as they seek a haven to survive across Winter. I adore All Creatures great and small and my hedgehogs will come home soon When I look to the Stars I see the Angels in my life who have passed away - I WILL RETURN and we will Live forever and ever.
I heard this on the radio a couple of days ago and I had to go to their website to find out what it was. This is so beautiful and I can't thank the person who requested the station play it enough
That my friend is a wonderful idea,I'm Scottish and I would like to put that forward to my local band, you know of course that bagpipes have only got 1 octave.
@@jimduffy1967 Would love to hear that if it gets recorded, or even better videoed! Isn't the range an octave +1? Main theme just requires an octave, so maybe another instrument(s) to cover the 'middle eight', as that requires +2.
Fantastic tune, years from now, ie our old people like us, our progeny will still love this tune because we will let them hear it, I'm not sure we will still have a anet to live on unfortunately, but God bless anyway.
Rewelacja !!!, tak oceniałem ten utwór w 1975 roku , zaś wykonawcę udało mi się ustalić po 40 -tu latach.Uwaga Dziki i lepszy "Zachodzie" w Polsce też potrafiliśmy "wyłowić " super muzykę.
Awesome !!!, that's how I assessed this song in 1975, and I managed to find the performer after 40 years. Attention, Dziki and better "West" in Poland we were also able to "pick out" great music.
Judäische Volksfront born 1958 love this tune, love you my friend. If you are an anti semite I hate you, but I don't know what your name means, if you are a right wing nationast you can get to fuck, if not you're my friend

I first heard this melody on the airwaves in the mid 70's and this haunting melody has never left me. And the picture of the cosmos goes well with it

Never thought it was that. 🤘
I've only just discovered this - 1st Jan 2020 - played on Radio Caroline Flashback. Awesome! The only downside is that is only just over 3 minutes.

Contradiction in terms, chum. It has no lyric so therefore not a 'Song'
Beautiful.
I listened to the Skerryvore Covid-19 NHS charity single and remembered this for the first time in near 50 years. I love them both.
