Good video. Agree but believe it can get better for the team. The Falcons wanted both: a free agent alleged franchise QB AND an excellent rookie prospect at QB. But remember that the Chiefs had Alex Smith & drafted Mahomes. They can put in Penix late this season & if Cousins is benchec next season he will request a release rather than sit & watch. If he doesn't then you guys have what Cousins really is: an excellent back-up. It's a weird situation but all that counts is that Penix starts when he's truly ready. We don't know if he's absolutely ready yet. Most QBs benefit from one season watching if the team has a good QB program.
