Hello welcome to my channel! I think is the first time I saw a comment from you! Thanks for watching!! And so far I always have seen the led operating like this when is latched!! Hope you can subscribe and check my other videos!! ...
Hey great video! I've got a question, if I've got a class A SLC and I have a two floor building and I need each floor to be isolated, can I run SLC out through first floor devices then into isolator module then into second floor devices then back to the SLC return or do I need isolator modules right outside of the panel for the SLC out and return? At 1:07 it looks as though I just need a isolator module in the middle between floors and the panel can isolate between it and the middle module. However I've never seen that kind of installation so I'm wondering if I just need one isolator in the middle of the loop or do I also need one at the SLC for the out and return?
Hello thanks for watching! I don't know any restriction about this! But is more common to install it on wall! Just remember that you need to think about maintenance service later so needs to be accesible! Stay safe and have fun!!...
Hello there, yes when they are steady yellow it means is detecting a short. Thanks for watching! Stay safe and have fun! Hope you can check all my videos! ...
Hello thanks for watching! Mini isolator? Model? The video is about the Notifier ISO-X, wiring info is 0:50 seconds of video! Stay safe and have fun! ...
what would be reason that the door holder DO NOT de energized when the fire alarm is being tested? there is a relay that sends 120v to the holders, i disconnected the output (NC) and it de energized the holders, there is something that is preventing the module to cut the 120v, any thoughts?
You should check your connections, are you using the FRM-1? Or an external relay? Check your zones inputs and outputs matrix, I will make a specific video about the relay module really soon, stay safe and have fun! Happy holidays ....
@@lumenfirealarms when View Read Status for a control/Relay or Monitor Module is performing, the device status should be on (active), off(device not active ) ?
Hello yes for inputs (Monitor Module) in normal status should say Inactive otherwise Aactive, for outputs (Control Module) in normal status should say OFF otherwise ON. I will make a video about this soon! Stay safe and have fun!!...
@@lumenfirealarms you mentioned that in order to simulate a fault in the module i just need to create a short. I have a FRM-1 Relay Module.if i create de short in between SLC(-) and SLC(+) , will the alarm go off? for instance let's say I create the short in the module dor the Door Holders (releasing devices).
Ohh if you are using ISO-X modules to protect your loop circuit, then the panel will active a system trouble event of each device that loose loop voltage when the short is ON, the control panel will say for example Not Answer Relay Module L2M27 and so the other devices that are connected to that ISO-X..

When active, sometimes the LED will flicker somewhat, sometimes it will light solid. It depends on whereabouts it is in the SLC.

Can the isolator module be installed, flushed with the ceiling or it should be flushed with the wall? any standard violation. please comments.
