I have Mpgn type 1 since I was 9 years old. Now, when it had reclassification of the types, the one i have is considered now to be C3GN.

Mam, you have explained type 2 MPGN is due to activation of alternative pathway leads to excessive C3 and properdin deposition then how come C3 being unidentified in the dense deposition during immunofluorescence.

By immunofluorescence C3 will be present focally in basement membrane but not within the dense deposits. And composition of dense deposits is unknown.
