Willie, my total sympathy concerning your leaf raking. We have only one tree in our yard, a 40 ft Arizona Ash planted as a sapling in 1983. Had I known then what I feel now, that tree would not be living in our yard. So far this season Miss Sophia & I have packed nine 40-gallon yard bags with its fallen leaves and we're not done yet! Yikes, I dread this time of year. Probably have two more bags to go before the job's finished. Never was too much of a bike rider, but I can assure you that I did not much enjoy having to ride a horse in cold weather (same idea I guess) and at one time I did it a-plenty. No more of that for me at my age! Good tips about what to look for when buying those reels. All together it was another great video and we both thank you for that. Be seeing ya' down the road . . .

Being the last house on the street, I’ve got leaves to trees 10 houses away.. The cold and I don’t get along.. it use to be different when I was younger but now it’s just a nuisance.. I can’t fish or ride the Motorcycle, I’d just as soon as stay in the house..🤣😂

I'm starting to feel better thanks. I also have had two rounds of antibiotics and steroids second round higher doses. I caught that new stomach bug going around. I have bad sinusitis infection, asthma going crazy, my balance is haywire, Arthur decided it liked to visit my hands and none of these things have to do to my disabilities. Thank goodness for my son. He's been a huge help. It's been really hard having all of these things together, but slowly getting better. I definitely don't want anyone to go through the tiniest part of this. Great video, Willie! I never liked riding in the winter, just plain too cold! I'm definitely a fair-weather rider! I know what you mean about raking leaves, I used to really hate that, now I just watch the landscapers remove all the leaves while I'm having a nice cup of coffee! I'm too old for the cold! Great and informative video, Willie! It got down into the teens here in the SC mountains the last few days. The temperature difference between our low country and here in the upstate gets crazy sometimes. Coastal and midland temps can be 20 or more degrees higher. But I just can’t leave these hills! I ride a bicycle for my exercise since my knees just don’t handle the running I used to do in my Army days and up into my thirties, I like to blame my high school football career for that haha. I’ve reached a point where the leaves and I have an agreement to just “leave” them until spring. Then I mulch them up and pretend they are good for my lawn when it warms up. My old body is pretty beat up as well.. I played every sport I could as a child, raced BMX, wrecked BMX😁.. I’m the type of person that struggles with sitting still but I’ve definitely noticed my body beginning to let me know it’s not 20 years old anymore.. The leaves are an absolute nightmare.. every year, these oak trees hold on to as many leaves as they can up until that last minute.. which is usually after the last city leaf pick up.. I guess I should feel good the city still picks them up at all but I’d still rather live in an open field 😂.. Thanks for watching!! @@paulbohn1971 Hey Paul🤠, As I recall, the only “combo” I’ve ever bought from Walmart was a Green Abu Garcia Ambassador 5000.. which I ended up breaking.. other than that it’s always been just a reel or a rod.. no combos..
