'Unity and Solidarity Festival' from Germany DIDF
6 thousand people from different cities of Germany attended the open-air festival organized by the German Democratic Workers' Associations (DIDF) with the slogan "Unity and Solidarity" in the Cologne Tanzbrunnen (OPEN AIR FESTIVAL) area on Saturday. While DIDF President Zeynep Sefariye Ekşi called for a fight against war, armament and social rights abuses, Ercüment Akdeniz, Chairman of the Labor Party (EMEP), who attended the festival from Turkey, said, “How once German racists were put on the walls, Türken raus! (Turks out) slogans were written, and now in Turkey the slogans 'Syrians out', 'Afghans out' are written on the walls. Let's fight against racism, nationalist division and war policies in order to live humanely wherever they are in the world.
