I LOVE THE DeBarges❤ no one can duplicate that unique sound, harmonies, etc...love you Bunny! I love all your songs, you're beautiful high singing voice😮 music, oh my heart! I'm sorry for what you and siblings have been through in your life. That hurts my heart😢 💕
Glad $he's doing great. May GOD Bless Her and the rest of the Family. She's looking like a lighter version of her Mom, and she definitely has her $mile!
I think this family is too far gone in their addictions. El is the only one out there still performing. Just so sad how abused those kids were by their father, scared them for life.
Bunny DeBarge can perform solo concerts and sing songs from the group along with her solo songs. People know who she is and will go see her live. Bunny can still make money.
This is so interesting...I have had "All This Love" stuck in my head recently but was thinking of it in terms of God's love. And here's Bunny saying the songs were originaly gospel songs that were changed to secular songs. Amazing! Bunny, your song writing is unmatched!
Bunny, please think of doing an album of gospel songs . I still hummm "All this love is waiting for you" when I'm thinking about God's love. Maybe you can do something similar that Sunday Service has done with reinterpretation of secular songs. Even some of the songs your brother wrote for Switch. They are all truly about God's love.❤🙏🏿
I have a deep love for the Debarge Family. They are musical Royalty just like my Jacksons. Bunny is my fb friend. Her post are always positivity and love. So glad to see this interview. Rest in love queen mama D..❤
This was another great interview. I enjoyed the El DeBarge interview as well. I also enjoyed Bunny’s books. The DeBarges remain one of my all time favorite artist. They created great music and overcame a tragic childhood, not just with drugs but with their love of God. I feel it’s tragic that they can’t trust one another to unite for the fans who love nostalgia tours. Outside of that, great retrospective interview. Hope to see next a interview with Chico DeBarge as well. He needs to come out of hiding and tell his story as well!
I grew up on there music just like the jackson family & I always thought they was Latino also , half time, El debarge is the Michael Jackson of there music family to me , half time man.
I read Bunny Debarge's book and saw their Unsung episode, The Debarge children went through a lot...I mean the sexual abuse that they went through with their own father is horrifying...No wonder they all had problems with addictions...
I love the interview, i really what too see they family restored and I'm glad she had the courage to even talk about it, and I pray that God blessed the family again 🙏 love power and peace 🙏 I feel thing will be okayed for the Debarge family 💪 and as far as am concern they will all way be a house name for God Glory ❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️, the victory belongs to Jesus
the Jacksons went through A LOT of trauma to, LOOK at how they turned out. the skin bleaching, plastic surgery, the none-trusting of each other. and so forth.
NO drugs, and if that family could have dealt with other issues. the Debarge family would have, could have, given the Jacksons a serious run. singing, writing, music production work, and playing ALL those instruments. they had the Jackson beat. the only thing the Jacksons had over the Debarge's. hitting that stage. they were better performers, that's it.
A lot of the Jackson write, produce and play instruments as well. It's just that Michael was the only ambitious one and the only one that had hunger other than Janet. Joe said in one of his interviews that the brothers were a little lazy among other things and as far as the other sisters.Rebbie didn't have the right management, writers, etc.Music didn't seem to be her main focus. Latoya's act and music was everywhere she was in the wrong business. she should have been a model. But both families are extremely talented and great in their own right.
Wrong, Randy was a hell of a musician and his production work is epic. MJ had a better singing range and understood singing better than El, the DeBarges were better writers for sure but could not perform to save their lives and performance is important. The Jacksons were better and with MJ they couldn't be beat...
Damn!! U Have 3 Brothers?! She's da Oldest outta 10 KIDS?! Whew, Lawd!! Neva heard of Source Records. "I don't look like What I've been Through" Dat is SO Profound.
Great interview. I loved how Bunny took her time and thought before answering a question. She gives off great vibes. I just think somebody on her team should have told her before she got on camera. It's not a good look to do a professional online interview sitting on her bed, should have been sitting somewhere else!
Though still talented, The family is too broken at this point to ever perform together as a whole. All the church talk can't make that happen. That's a choice. That's not the industrys fault.
Why didn't he ask about her sister? How is she doing after what happened to her? Why didn't he ask any questions about the abuse or Bobby? Is it just about how they were in the industry? I was looking for a more in depth interview.
I'm sorry, Sir; do your research. It's so much to talk to her about regarding her history, family and the group. Your questions are pointless. She mentioned being abused, interactial, and you skated right over it. Have you been drinking or something? I could do better than this!
Yeah I thought the same thing ! Seems to me like he was on something that had him drowsy. 🥱 I just wish he would have been drowsy on any another guest but not on bunny deBarge !

My condolences to their family ❤️💐🕊️
Bobby was phenomenal!
like his little brother who he taught/El Debarge... very rare do you get 2 musical geniuses in ONE family.
Beautiful and powerful interview with Ms. Bunny DeBarge!
This will be great to hear from her own words rather than some reporter or blogger trying to capitalize. Can't wait to see! I want to Notified! 💜
🙏🏾
Bunny's great! Wish I could say the same for the interviewer. She deserves better😐
@@ladyblue1729Whats wrong with him?
Peace Good Brotha Nnamdi!! Rest in Peace to Mama DeBarge who transition last week. The whole DeBarge clan are music for the soul.

Hope yall they heal and come back together..🙏🏿🙏🏿
I think this family is too far gone in their addictions. El is the only one out there still performing. Just so sad how abused those kids were by their father, scared them for life.
I have always loved Bunny's candor. I appreciate her honesty. And I STILL love her solo album. That was always a fun listen.
Bunny DeBarge can perform solo concerts and sing songs from the group along with her solo songs. People know who she is and will go see her live. Bunny can still make money.
I do 😊
This was a great interview
Thank you
I would love to see Debarge come back together and do some shows. There's definitely an demand for it. And, I know El still performs!

I read her book “The Kept Ones” it was really good. 💕💕💕💕
Thank you!
Yup me too. God definitely kept all of them. I read Tommy's book too.

I play “Spend the Njght” everyday! DeBarge is my favorite musical family.
DeBarge opened the doors to such a broad music taste for me. I will forever be grateful for how they enriched my life.
I'm soooo happy to see her doing well ❤.
The Debarge's music catalog is fire...So many artists sample their music...

She is so gracious with this guy.
I grew up on there music just like the jackson family & I always thought they was Latino also , half time, El debarge is the Michael Jackson of there music family to me , half time man.
I thought they were Latino as a child too but they are creole basically.
Rest in Peace 🕊️ 🕊️ Mama Dee

True especially with what their father put them through unsung teaches us all alot from behind the scenes of fame
Bunny you look wonderful ❤. I come from a family of abuse as well. Mommy didn’t protect her children and seems like neither did Mrs. D 😢.

Very interesting. I loved most of their music they put out. Sorry for their afflictions and the passing of their mother.
Great interview! I really enjoyed it. I've read her first two books...about to order the third one. I enjoyed reading them.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love, Luv, ❤ The DEBARGES, But Their Upbringing Was 2 Overwhelming 2 Achieve THE JACKSONS Stratospheric FAME.
the Jacksons went through A LOT of trauma to, LOOK at how they turned out. the skin bleaching, plastic surgery, the none-trusting of each other. and so forth.
It was but they still were able to achieve that during their heyday but they should have been bigger and more talked about.
Yes, they were SUPERSTARS but I agree with you, just about the saddest story of abuse I've ever heard😢
Mrs Bunny Debarge! A Dream😀. BlackStreet Sampled We Gone Take U Back / Dont Leave Me > .

Wow I know these songs
It's as though the young man didn't do research before interviewing Bunny.
He's thinking of questions right before the interview ends. Sad. I wish she would have just sang A Dream so he couldstop talking
Dang...missed it 🥺

The lighting is awful.
El was ok looking, I didn't think they were particularly great looking, they were all ok.
El looks better now in his older age.
