In this video, I want to tell you about an experience I'd been dreaming about for at least 10 years and that's to visit a private gastronomic society in Spain. These places are by invitation only but my friend Ramon had a friend named Francisco who is a member of La Becada and he's invited us to join him. It's a great place to try Spanish food. New item on my bucket list! Had to cancel a trip to travel the Camino thanks to 2020. I will work in a gastronomic society when I rework the trip...if I can get an invite!

Sorry to hear you had to cancel your trip, Heather, but I absolutely recommend a gastronomic society visit, it's a must do! You might also consider my Northern Spain's Basque Country & La Rioja experience coming up this September. Lunch with Francisco is on the agenda!
