Hi. I am the beginner for Ledger and I didn't know how to transfer coins from Binance to Ledger. Thank you for your video. It is useful but the only thing that makes me confusing is "choosing the network"
Reminder for beginners: I recommend 3 cloned Ledger Nano S Plus with the same seed and the same PIN code: 1 at yours, 1 at dad's, 1 at my brother's. A single device is too risky, if fire/burglary/loss/failure/disaster, then Bitcoin + paper disappear together. With this method, the only thing you need to remember is 1 PIN, and you can destroy your seed.
Hi Vincent - thanks for helping educate the community, while it's an excellent idea to have multiple backups, destroying your seed phrase is definitely not recommended as it is ultimately the only backup if your devices were to fail or if you were to forget your PIN. One way to mitigate seed-phrase risks is to add a passphrase. This way, even someone getting access to your phrase wouldn't be able to access your accounts without the passphrase. Thanks for the video. However, in your explanation, your Binance account simply lets you paste the address into the the 'address' field, whereas my Binance account says, below the 'Address' heading, "Whitelist enabled. Crypto withdrawals can only be made to whitelisted addresses" and doesn't let me simply paste the Ledger address into the Binance account 'Withdraw Crypto' 'Address' field. Where to from here? Thanks.

All ERC20 tokens can be secured with your Ledger device through your ETH address in Ledger. Not all are supported on Ledger Live's interface because there is always new ones popping up and integrating them takes time. So users will need to use Metamask + Ledger to view and manage these tokens. If you can share the name and contract address of each token you'd like to add to Ledger Live, we can add them to the pending ERC20 list. We hope this helps clarify.

@@Ledger I read many article before about originality of ledger device , my package was at is said to be safe , I put around 80% of my money in it but then withdrawn all and kept 5k in it only will wait for 1 month to check if it’s still there then will transfer everything which I wish to kept as cold, is it a good strategy? If it’s tampered or something would be shown in 1 month.

Hey George - we're not planning on interrupting support for XRP - even if we did you'd still have your private keys so you'll be able to recover your XRP in any 3rd party wallet by using your 24-word recovery phrase I hope this answers your question!

I sent a little bit ETH from binance to nanoX but i choose Optimism network i thought because its ETH scaling solution it is the same :P i guess it is not .....
Hey there - your funds are fine but since Ledger Live doesn't support Optimism the app won't be able to detect your balance.
