Are hybrid funds better than debt funds for setting up an SWP?

    How do you feel about investing in a Large cap fund for SWP ?

      Nice option but you should start SWP after 1 year of investment, in order to save 15% STCG tax. And your withdrawal rate should be more reasonable

      @@subratadasgupta5097 Yes that is obvious, i feel Large cap are better option cos of less volatility and reasonable returns

      @@subratadasgupta5097 Well i am no expert but in my opinion it depends on factors like how much is your corpus, how much you require as income out of it, how long is your investment time span & most importantly how agressively u want to invest. I feel that it's kind of ok to withdraw around 5% and let the rest be reinvested so that corpus continues to grow. For example - If i earn 10% per annum from my investments i think it's safe to withdraw around 5% and let the other 5% grow along with the corpus but then again all the factors that i mentioned earlier will affect how much one should withdraw, every individual will have different needs & situations 🙂

      Ex: Axis midcap fund
