In memory of our late friend and leader Ismail Hakki Ercan (1958-2019), we held a Memorial Scholarship Dinner in Ft. Lauderdale. The FTAA Florida Turkish American Association and ITU Alumni Association were organizers.
We lost our dear friend Ismail Hakki Ercan at the age of 61 in November 2019. He had been the president of FTAA for 4 years and the representative of ITU Alumni Association in South Florida. Together with him, we had started a scholarship fund at the Prof. Behram Kurşunoğlu dinner in 12/2018. He had made major contributions to this scholarship fund himself in 2018.

We greatly appreciate your support for talented and promising young engineers, architects and scientists.
Your donations will help female students of the Istanbul Technical University in their studies, research and publications. Additionally, this fund will memorize many other Turkish American scientists in the future.
Currently, girl students need our increasing help more than before. Every amount counts. Scholarships will be determined through the Scholarship Committees in Istanbul and the USA. Regular reports will be published.
