Ha. Just returned from Barnsley main this afternoon after flying my drone around. Met 4 really nice guys from Barnsley council. Believe it or not they were flying their drone to do an inspection on the brickwork and steelwork. They are committed to keep it preserved as best as possible. Worth a look for anyone interested. Enjoyed your content. Nice job 👍

Remember the races from the shaft side to the buses to get back to Barrow and those that smoked looking for their hidden cigs so they could have a drag on the bus, great memories. Enjoyed the video

Respect to all old miners from a miners daughter granddaughter sister niece cousin.mi older brother was in two pit accidents at Houghton main pit n we were lucky cos it could ave ended badly xx

My dad worked here he was the safety officer, and sometimes the pit manager.
