4:06 *facepalm* I think the final product is the best youtube video ive seen this year btw
Man it looks Great 😁
Hey dude, nice videos, one hint, add this channel to your channel list on the main channel, it got me some time to find the link in the comment
HEyyy MR. CEO JOMA I need heeelp!!
I have a idea of business on my country that Chan change the form of who the tourists can get services!
Is about a app and connect people, I live on a very tourist country. Contact me if you want more information
Your 3D designer did a great job! He made the window blinder so attractive.
you can really see Jomas true passion is filmmaking and tech was always just a backdrop for his true aspirations, this video was amazing and so was the actual video itself
actually I was also thinking the same. I like this BTS video much more than his original video. Here he talked about himself with little bit of sarcasm.
That animator is crazy talented!
No joke. I hope this video helps him stay booked with work
The most important thing is Joma finally got a haircut.
💇♂️
I liked the longer hair, now I cant take him seriously as a filmmaker anymore
Yeah he looked way better before ngl
oh my gosh yes. the short hair looks so much better. SO much better.
dude you look waaay better with this haircut, no jokes!
It was so cathartic seeing you be genuinely happy and proud of your work. Love the video man, keep it up ☺️🙏
Oh hello! Do you remember me? From jumpcut :o! Holy shit
@@JomaNYC of course man! Haha what a throwback - it’s been awesome seeing your channel(s) grow and grow
Joma understands that no one else would ever give a shit about his work or who he is, which is why he's willing to spend that kind of money on himself to make it happen. Easily overlooked by others, he's taking full ownership of his life and doing his own thing instead of working for the man or living in his mom's basement playing World of Warcraft. Good job!
FYI Highest paid eSports Athletes are DOTO2 Player mate 😂
World have changed, people still live with their parents and making millions hahaha, u would be surprised
Lol I knew 3D was involved when I saw the original video. Also Oleg is a beast in the 3D render community. Didn't know he uses Redshift though.
I thought redshift only for cinema 4d😅
Props to the modeler/animator literally made wanna buy the thing from the animation alone
Hey Joma, you are easily becoming one of my favourite channels to watch.
Watching someone follow their passion despite having a great paying job all in this comedic and entertaining way is why I have the bell notification for your vids.
Your videos are inspiring and genuine which is all I can ask for. Thanks and really looking forward to seeing your journey.
If at 2 am when your tired and still love what you do, your on the right track
If RUclips had "heart reaction" for videos, this one would have won millions of billions of trillions of them out of respect for all the hard work you have been putting behind the scenes
Loved the vulnerability at the end - really resonated with the ‘good stress’ you were talking about. I watched the final product and can tell you poured your soul into it. Keep it up! We’re all cogs but it doesn’t have to define us and you’re a great example of that.
i love the fact that joma is doing this out of interest and skill development and not the greed of more views and shit...
Right now upon the second day of the video drop he got more views than subs. 112k vs 111k.
@@AliasHSW nice!
We witnessed you watch your draft, see something you did not like and not have a solution, but in the next clip 15 seconds later, you literally solved it with a good idea. very creative you are Joma. keep up your comedic genius and good work.
Funny story: In the mid 90's I created a 3-D model of wood window blinds using POV. I was playing around with how light interacts with it when I change the angles of the blinds.
Anyway, I had "temp blinds" on a full-length window in a back door. When I ordered custom blinds, after measuring the guy left me with accordion-folded paper with an adhesive string on one end and weighted clips on the other, to cover the window while I wanted for the order.
I configured my blinds model to the window size, and printed it out full-size on an E-sized printer at work. I hung that up and had a gathering and nobody noticed the window treatment was a picture until I pointed it out.
My supervisor had bare windows too, and I made another set of printouts that had his actual yard in the space between the slats. This was before digital photography so we had to shoot with 35mm and order a "PhotoCD" or otherwise have it scanned. I think PhotoShop existed by this point, but we only had simpler software. Oh, and computer displays did not have 24-bit color. Having 16-bit "high color" was an emerging advanced feature, but most computers had to run in 256-color palette mode.
Anyway, when you said you were going to make a 3-D model of very nice blinds, it brought back memories.
This must be the most inspiring, heartfelt creative process on RUclips I’ve ever seen. It must be a lonely road at times but you have such an audience and friend in so many people here - who are here to listen, absorb, nod, and understand deeply. We are at once understanding everything you are describing and at the same time inspired and delighted by the surprises.
I understand what you're referring to when you said the "good stress" kinda stress. It's that feeling within that makes not just do it, but do it with the excellence of your own standards. I hear you, man! I think this goes to all of us who have OUR own view of what we want to grow into. Let's go at it!
the render guy literally saved the video but kudos to you to come up with clever solutions, you had the vision. The video was pretty dope
From a tech guy to a movie guy. Good luck Joma!
The final video is so good dude! Great to see behind-the-scenes, epic content Joma. 🎥👌
That is the first thing I noticed, the blinds you shot are not the video! Well, life is a learning process. Thank you! Love and blessings.
Omg that colorist and 3D designer are really great artist
Watching this first then hopping over to Joma Tech!
same.
This was such a great behind the scenes video!! I really liked how you shared your thought process and brought us along with you. It was a great clip at the end to show how much you deeply care about this video and filmmaking in general :) really excited for what comes next!! Also nice haircut
Joma, the video was exceptional! A lot of people comment on RUclips videos how great what they've just watched is, but few are on the level of what you've created. The attention to detail is stunning, and I'm so glad to have seen the behind the scenes that showed just how much work you put into it. Watching the video, I was most impressed with the window blind product shot, and wondering how exactly you did it. Oleg is super talented, as shown by his (and your) consideration to the curvature of the blinds. Really so impressed! Can't wait to see your next steps!
This is perhaps the first time I thumbed up a YT video bc of how much I truly enjoyed it. This is phenomenal. I think you're a top-class creator, maybe one of the best on this platform. The difference between you and someone like David Dobrik or Elliot Choy is astronomical. Cheers
You should be super proud of this one! It definitely accurately conveyed an era of Apple products.
you should be proud. i'm amazed by the result! congrats!
the only ytber that i keep watching throughout the years, interesting, just the right amount of seriousness and sarcasm, i love you
Joma, maybe not the blind itself, but the background could show the luxury, fancy and style.
Insane video! Hats off to the incredibly talented VFX artist! (And the whole team, really). Btw love the haircut!
Dude, I've not seen your content before and I loved watching your process. Really good content and well done for being you!
I loved the Piano background sequence in the last scene of the video!
Your words in the last minutes of this video really inspires me, your stress because you care about it
That Captain Sinbad with the WTF face for a solid 4 minutes at the end. Good job, Joma! You've come far, man. Keep it up
The continuation of the last soundtrack instead of the jazzy upbeat outta pulled on my heart a lil 🥲
hey buddy! the last speech of this video is gold... you are awesome! thanks!
The video was incredible and i could tell there was something different about it. Your organization and process is something I’m applying to my own work in business and the military. Thanks for being an inspiration!
i love how u can see the sincere and proud side of joma. good job
the last part was so heart touching i loved it and felt very happy for you. just stop undermining your value and be what you wanna be💓
Inspiring af, thank you for sharing your journey with us 🙏🏽
And gawd damn, that piano at the ending scene 🥲. I’m so pumped 🦾, watching the CEO vid now!
wow! thank you for describing all the process of filming and editing. I had a guess that we should work with color after a filming, but I didn't know that sometimes you could achieve some effect only with color editing.
You explained exactly how I feel about teaching ❤️🥺
Hi Joma, please bring back the startup series 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Thank you for sharing! Behind the scenes was also awesome!
Bro joma was so fucking happy on getting a hat and some socks. I luv him so much
Working hard for something we don't care about is called stress. Working hard for something we love is called passion.
So chase your dream. I love your video and I'm proud of you. Keep up the good work!!! 👍👍👍
i know nothing about production costs but $30k seems decent for how high quality that video was
We do give a shit. I feel like everyone can pickup on and appreciate genuine passion and hard-work. The video came out great, you should be proud.

U know, with the last words u say in ur video, when u were talking about how u feel doing this shit. And that it makes u feel like this is the things u want to do for live. At this moment, when u opened yourself, I respected that. Now u are just not another RUclipsr, bro I do respect you a lot. 👌🏻
It's incredible how artistic, creative, funny and talented you are. Amazing video filming behind the scenes. I actually enjoyed watching this video over the actual one. Keep up the good work.
It was so cool seeing how much thought and work went it to it! Thanks

Joma: Spent 30k on a youtube video.

I don't want a rich life, I just want to live like JOMA; with is tech zone in the living room, buying keyboards that cost boatload of money, use OCULUS RIFT to workout....I know a lot of people want this type of life too!
4:43 Wait.. his styles reminded me of Nam do san impression scene from Start-up series xD
9:00 By pure coincidence, I happened to have watched a video about spline curves that covered this kind of Geometric Continuity. It was by a woman named Freya Holmér. The video title is "The Continuity of Splines". I'll post the actual link here, in case it's not redacted: ruclips.net/video/jvPPXbo87ds/видео.html
