@@proxyblue8720 it does when you consider that old phoebe never married Cole. She called it off, found out he was the source and they killed him. Old phoebe never got over it wondering if there might’ve been a chance that Cole could be saved. Present phoebe does marry Cole, gets pregnant and afterwards realizes that there was no saving Cole. So her heart was still open to finding love. And she does.
He true love forever. She did save him in a way. He appeared later to Piper. Old Phoebe sacrificed her life for him. Very touch. Ultimate proof how much they love each other
Well, she did end up hating Cole afterwards. Even blaming him for everything when something bad happens. Although she didn't regret when she didn't 'save' him from the Source's influence just like what the old Phoebe was pointing out here. They just vanquished him when she was the one who stopped him from giving up the Source's powers. 🤨 They could've find any other means of saving him. At least, she owes him that after she screwed up by succumbing both of them to evil.
Paige’s orbing has advanced to travel further. The Source is polluting Cole’s mind. Maybe that’s why he didn’t come clean. Similar to drugs or alcohol, messing up ur rational thoughts.
@sifilore9462 To be honest, This Dialogue between Cole. And Old Phoebe was is quite emotional. In vain Cole listened to The Seer. If he had trusted Phoebe then, Phoebe could have happily ended up with him in the end and not with Coop.
Sorry not sorry, for all the cole stans saying that the source prevented cole from doing anything. Remember that he eventually was going to give up his powers but the seer manipulated phoebe into stopping him. Also if cole was strong enough to prevent the source from hurting phoebe then he was strong enough to come clean. I think the seduction got to cole and he made a deal with the source to rule with phoebe as his queen.
Looking back carefully during The Source's possession of Cole he (Cole) was gradually losing the battle for self-control. It's similar to the Jean Grey/Phoenix storyline. Cole/Jean would surface but then The Source/Phoenix would resurface only more strongly
@ i don’t remember cole struggling aside from this episode. With jean it was constant. But my point is that cole’s love was so strong that he couldn’t physically hurt phoebe nor live without her but not strong for anything else except when she turned her back on him he was willing to give up the power. To me that’s either plot device or bs
Tbh I think you are wrong, the Source is one of the most powerful evil entities to exist and even the Seer said she was surprised Cole hadn't been taken over fully yet. Cole's love was strong but not enough.
Im sorry but had that been me i would've had saved myself the heartbreak and told my past self not marry him but actually saved him from becoming the source. Because isnt the whole root of the show is "love conquers all". And another thing why didn't phoebe use her powers to save her and cole from getting killed by the demon
The future of old Phoebe was indeed different than the one we saw in the series. Old Phoebe never had someone else after Cole.
*SEASON 6 MILD SPOILER*
Same thing happened to future Chris and Wyatt in season 6, their future was also different because of Piper's absence
@jisoochrist That's why the multiverse exists. 😏
Makes no sense!!!!!!!

I adored that ole gal. I was so sad when she passed.

It was the actual Source of All Evil - bad writers.
It was the alternate Phoebe I think.
charmed is so amazing
I wish they remember old phobe travel back to save her one true love and explain her remorse regrets🤞 😪 😢 😫 😔 😕
its the old bag from seinfeld at 0:19 LOL
Pure love ❤❤❤
She sacrifice herself so they don't mess up the timeline and Cole died when it was his time!
Prue deserved to stay until they vanquished the source… I can’t believe they took this from her…

Coop left the chat. 💘
A future probably way more powerful Phoebe didn’t see that demon coming?

What powers? Premonition him to death?
The only powers Phoebe had here was levitation and premonition and even that may not have been enough
Should of stood by her husband the proof is right there
I always wondered here. What about Coop with the old Phoebe?? 😯
No Coop. Phoebe deciding to marry Cole this time around changed both of their futures.
🎉🎉
Will cole phoebe unborn son be 3/4 demon and 1/4 human?
Would've understood chris mission better
Happy Cole gets vanquished for
Good in season 5.

Happy Election Day Everyone.
I'm getting ready to head to my polling location now...
phoebe - selfish for cole until the very end. she should not have told Cole. He was evil. He could have killed her sister.
