I'll never forget the time I had to drive straight through Nevada in the middle of the night. I had a gig in Las Vegas and had to drive the whole length north to south through the most desolate parts of the state - parts unknown. Talk about dark. I drove for hours without seeing a town, building or another car or light. The temperature dropped to 10 degrees. I had made sure to pack lots of provisions just in case, but it was the sort of time and place you didn't want to have any problems. The miles and hours started to add up and I easily became hypnotized by the lack of visual stimuli. The music blaring on the stereo became the only color available. I was listening to the album Way Out West at high volume. A full September moon appeared above the mountains and hills while I drove through the valleys. This song came on and gave rise to the coolest vibes I've ever experienced on the road. I had a very successful 3 night gig in Vegas, but nothing as cool as that night, that car, that road and this song completely re-wiring my brain. Thank you Mr Stuart.

We saw Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives at a small venue in Roswell NM June 17, 2022. They really and truly sound like this video. They played tight but relaxed all evening. Each member presented themselves as a fully capable musician and singer, The Fabulous Superlatives are all top-notch showmen in their own right, not just sidemen looking to draw a check. Must see show!

This sounds loke the studio, congrats and thx. Marty and his band created a great concept album w/Way Out West. I love this! I can't wait to go see this shiw in April! This album has a lotta imagery and great harmonies, And a story. Fabulous work from one of a kind!
