Are Melta Weapons Good in Space Marines 2 PvP? (Weapon Guide and Tips)

Tactical with melta is hella OP, scan and murders an entire ream

It feels so inconsistent sometimes im right in someone's face and I fully 1 shot other times it doesn't. Plus the range is inconsistent as sometimes im like 2-3 feet away and deal high dmg but other times it does like none. At the least make it have less per shot cool down or watever.

I dont know if its lag or what but ill be in malee range and blast someone with the melta and it doesnt register the hit.

Ive definitely experience this, very frustrating because it means almost certain death. In general the netcode for the game is a bit lacking as I often die around corners

They suck mostly for anything outside of point blank 1v1. If you want to hold hands all match then it's not a terrible choice but go off alone and you will be picked off easily.

@fr0gzz I'm glad I'm not the only one dealing with this. I love the melta in campaign but it's such a gamble in pvp.
