It feels so inconsistent sometimes im right in someone's face and I fully 1 shot other times it doesn't. Plus the range is inconsistent as sometimes im like 2-3 feet away and deal high dmg but other times it does like none. At the least make it have less per shot cool down or watever.

I dont know if its lag or what but ill be in malee range and blast someone with the melta and it doesnt register the hit.

PvP it’s pretty weak in capture and control some of those zones just get in a super tight area and you can’t fly around. You just get wrecked by any other class. Elimination and seize the ground it’s op tho if you are skilled.

Pvp is super fun but they need to balance class ! This one in particular is broken and the main ability recharge too fast

excellent lvl 20 atm assault is one class i dont play, as it seems so hard to get the jumps right, good to watch to learn.

After watching this video yesterday today I landed my first triple kill melta airdrop. Jumped from the other side of a wall and launched it somewhere at the high point and I watched blow up on 3 people as I fell back to cover.

I was one of the first peopme doing this i hoped someone wouldn't make a video 😅

i've noticed this too, that certain assault players that know how to play can absolutely dominate. biggest mistake you can make as an assault player is only using your jump pack to do ground slams. using it just as a mobility tool can make you very hard to deal with as long as you don't over commit.

Nerfing the jet pack in PvE is such a BS dev vs player move or it's lame map design. Make the maps in consideration of the assault class. Let the assault blast up wherever he wants.

I think quick players should have a window to slash the zipline with chainsword to counter it's only fair and I have a chain sword there is no reason for the zip to totally incapacitate me on contact it's kind of stupid

is there any way to counter this? people have been exploiting it so hard honestly it's zero skill I can't even move when I get tagged by a zip

Died to one once, the rest use that zipline thing and get right in front of the heavy bolter, they last about a second longer lol.

I haven't tried this on assault yet, but I've been playing sniper on annihilation with melta bombs and just using the cloak to sneak in and become a suicide melta bomber will never get old. What's even funnier is that suicides don't give the enemy team points, so I can just keep bombing them, and it's encouraged to die in your own explosion so they can't kill you to get a point.

Wait til you try the sniper with the SMG. Running up on people, flashing and smashing them, then cloaking the second things get hairy is super strong. Sniper is the best CQC class IMO.
