The edgy but humorous relationship that developed between Tuco and Blondie is what molded this movie into a classic. I’ve seen this epic western at least 20 times and could still watch it again today.
Eli ... wow loved his acting ... most probably the best ever western made ... rest in peace Eli .
He died on my birthday 😢

Eli was nearly killed in that scene . The stunt went horribly wrong, horse bolted as you saw with him still on it. There was also the train scene where he was handcuffed lying in a ditch next to & below the passing loco & actually was nearly decapitated by a set of steel stairs protruding down from the train they forgot to allow for. Eli was very lucky to be alive after that film. Thank God too & he lived to be close to 100! Amazing. RIP Eli, you were awesome man 🙏👏
would he still be worth three thousand dollars?
@@Fongolitus In today's money, he'd probably be worth 3 million! Certainly more than those untalented, bland-faced, off-the-rack tosser "actors" with speech impediments Hollywood cranks out now.
$2750 without the head @@Fongolitus
I did not that the character was played by an American. Trust me, I always thought it was played by a Mexican since my childhood in Africa. What an amazing actor he was. This portrayal deserved an Oscar. May he RIP.
Not to mention that he got an actual blackeye from the torture scene, and drank some sort of acid from a bottle he thought was soft drink.
Clint had a unique delivery style that nobody could duplicate although many tried till now. So soothing and well-timed.
Bronson did a good job in Once upon a time in the west
This is haram for you.

Peace to all.
Eli Wallach's acting and Clint Eastwood's fathomless on screen presence really made this a classic.
I completely agree!!! Eli Wallach was a great actor!!!!
Fathomless. That’s a great description of the man with no name character!
A classic and a masterpiece. Best western movie imo.
Plus Ennio Morricone's music, without which the film never would have attained the greatness it did.
@@pietrom2 Indeed, very true.
Every line of dialogue here is pure gold.
And the gold is buried in a grave somewhere.

Spaghetti Westerns may have been b-movies back in their day and their makers never given invites to Hollywood galas but for style and sheer entertainment this Sergio Leoni masterpiece is one of the highlights of the genre.

People back then were idiots. Hollywood westerns are a dime a dozen, nobody cares or remembers half of them. Everyone and their mother will still remember the dollars trilogy long after we’re dead
Tuco made this movie a masterpiece…
...and Ennio!
How Eli Wallach did not win the Oscar for his portrayal of TUCO Is one of the great tragedies of the film industry the part is iconic and will live forever
And it was two performances. The voice looping was done months after principal photography.
You should stop seeing Oscar as something relevant and everything will be fine
I liked his role better in The Magnificent Seven.
I agree!
The best line in movie history “Let me goooo, you can still save yourself, let me go and I will pardon you” HAHA!
Eli Wallach deserved 20 Oscar's for his character of Tuco.
At least 19
He was incredible in this, yes. Also, check him out for a brief scene in The Silent Flute, AKA Circle of Iron
@Jumpy Cat hello
So true
Here in RUclips we can enjoy the full movie The Line Up, he's truly amazing in that one (as in every movie he's in) my favorite actor ever❤
Tuco was such a wonderful character played brilliantly.
Couple steps back, I love that line
I’m absolutely grateful and happy that the legend himself Clint Eastwood is still with us he’s 94 years old and I’m wishing him 100 and more
This is golden. Never to be outdone.

Never? You're a narrow minded simpleton then.
Yep never outdone only outdoing... everything else
Eli Wallach's Tuco was the most badass character that ever was. He should have won the academy award for Tuco. The movie was so great it should have been titled "The Good, The Bad, and Tuco"! RIP Eli Wallach and Lee Van Cleef, also another badass!
The Good, The Bad and EL Tuco. Like El Barto.

Tuco is me every morning when I have to drive into work😂
The best western, the best music, the best actors.
The greatest western ever made.
Maybe the Wild Bunch
One must just love how Tuco, after getting a cigar from Blondie, chews it instead of lightening it.

Great actors Tuco ,Clint and Lee ,they don't come like that anymore
The actor who played Tuco was the late legend Eli Wallach
Tuco the King of trash talk lol
The greatest western movie ever made!
🍿🎬🎥
The line was much better in Italian:
"You know you have the face of someone that's worth $ 2000?"
"Yeah, but you don't have the face of someone that collects them."
Its a brilliant line in English. One of the best ever.
Lo sai di chi sei figlio tu?
Nice one last intimidating line by Tuco. If you miss, you better miss it very well😁
Best movie, best music and best story of all time.
One of the best movies ever.
Clint is my all time favorite Gun man.
I agree 100%
Lee van cleef too
Was my favorite too, until Raylan Givens came along....
My favorite Tuco line Tuco in the bath tub with a hidden gun (If you gonna shoot , shoot don't talk)
GBU Movie making at its finest, loved the Tuco character so much even called my Parrot TUCO, Loved the fight scene at the end with the transporting Music and the scene with the union officer at the bridge fight, Angel eyes was awesome too. but I'd say for a few dollars more was equally as good with angel eyes as a good guy and the legendary character INDIO... one of my all-time favorite movie nutcases.
My favorite line Such Ingratitude, After All The Times I Saved Your Life”
Greatest film of all time
Eli Wallach always smiled like a happy chipmunk. His New York city accent mixed with that comic Mexican one...geez.
" whoever double crosses Tuco and leaves him alive, understands nothing about him, laughter from Tuco..😂"
Whenever I am depressed, I watch this movie.
я этот фильм смотрел уже сто раз.и главное что и мои сыновья уже с младенчества привыкли и любят Туко, Блнодинчика и Сентенца
"Roll it up and i tell you where to put it" hahahhahahahahahah
“You may run the risks my friend but I do the cutting“
One of the seriously most underrated movies ever made. The portrayals by Eli Wallach are Platinum. Even as a kid, I saw these and was instantly hooked. Here I am at 44 in 2024 watching on my phone enjoying their awesome talents. Nobody will ever.....EVER.....make ANYTHING...as great as the magnificent spaghetti westerns of the late 60s and early 70s ever again. GBAU will always remain a favorite. 3 hours well spent.
I need a day off to spend watching it.
I've always loved the poncho that Clint wore throughout all 3 films but I absolutely loved this first outfit, complete badass and it fit Eastwood's style, and on top of that I've always been a fan of duster coats in general.

What actors!! So many epic moments in 7 minutes! Just a possibly neglected one for example, when Tuco spits at Blondie, Blondie's face unexpectedly retreats back for just a fraction of a second, and them immediately returns to place, just to give the viewer a feeling of how tough this man is.
you notice that the horse got a fright?
"You can't even read!" Probably true. Lol!
Yeah he really should have beg an Oscar. He portraid Tuco so well and no one could have done better.

Impressive Eli Wallach.
Not sure if this movie was ever meant to be a comedy, but I just can't stop smiling.
Eli wallach An American treasure.
Listen the neck at the end of the rope is mine. I run the risk. Classic. Gotta admit Clint is a pretty dam handsome dude in his days
About 50,000 dollars in today’s money.
Hats off to his shooting skills. His friend wanted more of the reward money.
That's a lot of money
More than 50000
Make sure the rope is tight,....it's got to hold the weight of a pig😂 😂Tuco to Blondie ....love that line ,among many
Supposedly, Eli's hands were actually tied behind his back as he sat on the horse with the noose around his neck, and when the horse bolts (apparently they used a gun firing in the scene), he is literally squeezing the horse with his legs for dear life as it tears off. They used the scene obviously, but it looks so much that it was scripted to play out that way, that if its true that he was in harms way of falling badly due to his hands being tied, how on earth did no one think about that before hand?
It happened. His hands were tied because the director wanted the scene to look authentic.
He also almost had his head cut off during the scene where the train cuts his hand cuffs off by the step on one of the trains doors
Good old days
I adore this film and everyone in it ❤️
You're supposed to smoke the cigar, Tuco, not eat it. 🤣
It’s so beautifully over the top.
