Great video, shows the travails of running a rural family business. Also, stock always comes first, well done. LOL at the frequent swearing and the dude hammering his monitor. Tomorrow's another day 😊
Ah lad tis rough all right but well impressed on how u handled it, u got to take the rough with the smooth . Be a farmer they said, be fun they said😉 Same in Ireland and oz , bad weather and bush fires, would test u but never give up 👍
Your Dad did pick the right time to go to Austria 🇦🇹 😊 But he has two very capable wee laddies at home to cope with what ever gets thrown at them. Well done. Happy Burns Night to you all.😊
Would be worth investing in a tractor driven generator to help out with the shop with powercuts but also if you work with a borehole for watering the cattle you can't be without power too long as we have found out, it was one of my best buys, like you we lost power for 18 hours on Monday. It never rains but it pours when there's problems.
Lots of damage around everywhere looks like you took a beating. Impressed with tarpaulin man’s response to urgent request suspect you’ll pay a premium for it
The weather certainly tests everything out ,Including our temper’s ! I know in my town there were many trees came down and someone unfortunately lost their life . The building where I used to work when the wind blew from a certain direction it allowed the rain below the roofing panels and it turned into a mop up operation. Not the kind of day that you want to repeat sure 👍
Catching up Straw chopper and a mixer wagon needed for that new shed your save big time on straw alone. Some damage ye had we had plenty here in Ireland lost a 1/3 of the roof of one of the poultry sheds 🙈
The storm hit us hard here in Fayette, Maine USA. We were without power for five days. Trees and electricity poles down making even the roads impassable, then we had an ice storm. What a crazy winter. Hope things get better for you.
Well, seems I wasn't alone with the shit show of a week I've had. Every single day starting with an urgent job and not getting to finish it until half the day's gone. Taking the boom lift to the same machine two days in a row, right when a storm hits, and similar fun things. Cheers you right up, to not be the only one suffering 😁
I like your sledge hammer bit . Can see the wind was well beyound windy . Windy life of a Farmer , more ways than one . Make a good comedy if it wasnt real life .😂 You got me laughing , 😅 thanks .hope well you can laugh ☺️
As odd as it may sound, you'll hopefully look back and chuckle at such a catalogue of disasters in such a short period of time! And great, varied content in how it was all dealt with, that rivals even Oly Blog's videos for content. (PS Does TGL (The Gate Lady) not have batteries in her lap top?!)
Lots of damage over here in Ni too haven't seen anything like it in years yer man having a go at the computer would be great at sledging in fence posts 🤣
"Smile and wave boys ,Smile and wave 😂 Laugh at as much as you can, the same crap is coming your way if you're happy or sad,and you still gotta deal with it, so 😂(if you can 🎉)
Lots of damage done over here in Ireland too and worse than all was a second storm came after it . Did ye get both or just the 1 storm .Will the van be worth fixing at 4000£ .
We have good news....And he shows us healthy sheep and Highland coos.
I agree....good news!

Was the driver who hit the van American? Because the accident description makes perfect sense if you drive on the right!
You handled it well

Maybe you should start making adverts for the Scottish tourist office!
Although milder Storm Jocelyn seened to cause us more breakages than Isha. Hope it wasn't the same for you. 🤞
Bit of a busy day eh !
