I must say, I’m from Ireland, and mine was 50 thousand EUROS too, and compared to the F48 model (which I also owned) I prefer the new U11 model, it rides better, it’s bigger and way more comfortable I’d say if you fell like it and have the money, but it if your in Europe.

For $50k I cant really think of any features that this is lacking. Maybe a less bumpy ride and more cargo space would be appreciated, but then you’d obviously be looking at a larger more expensive vehicle. I think BMW did really well, and glad to hear your positive thoughts on the DCT.

How rough or smooth is the ride? I rented a 2020 Audi Q3 recently, and it drove much rougher than my 2021 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid. I was curious if this was due to being a rental and how they take care of it. The cabin was also a little smaller than my Crosstrek and didn't have many features. This X1 looks like maybe the way to go if it drives as smooth as I hope.

Susan and I just acquired a 2023X1. Susan calls it "the Enterprise" after the Star Trek ship. It is comfortable, responsive in steering and acceleration, beautiful in design and overly complicated.. It should come with 8 hours of hands on instructions to get access to all of the hidden features and accessories. This is a very German car; You do what you want but only if you follow it's non intuitive rules.

Have you studied the car market? Buick, Lincoln, Cadillac and Mercedes climb north of this price point really quick for equivalent options and trims. Down market, a specced out RAV4 and CRV are about 5-6k less but with toy like interiors and unrefined driving. I mean even a Ford Edge Titanium is 46k. The closest rival to this in my opinion, the Lexus UX still has a manual lift gate at this price point. So I'm pretty sure that even this fully specced out X1 is great value for your money considering what others are offering.
