Put your phone in your pocket, stop fidgeting, and give possible clients a reason to trust you. Make sure you go into a meeting with a notepad so it shows you are taking in what they are saying to you. In addition to that, find some structure in what you are presenting... whether it being monthly payments.... yearly or whatever it may be. Don't promise any growth in sales, only potential growth... give them trackable results that can be gauged.
I have a car business and this guy doesn't know about advertising, he just sounds better then them because they are all over the place. They should have focused more on Facebook ads and pixel and how they are better then cars.com
Most people that think their good never act, this shit is nerve wrenching for some. Good stuff to Luis and Emmanuel. Take notes on the comments here ur learn alot and you'll be even more prepared keep hustling fellas
First things first...leave the guy with the glasses at the office on sales meetings...he doesn't know the first thing about sales. NEVER tell the prospect that you're going to go to another dealership to sell your services because you have NO leverage at this point in the meeting and you clearly have not established any proposed value to the prospect that he would fear that he would be danger of losing to a competitor. Secondly, you haven't asked what challenges that he is facing with his business in terms of development, analytics and current growth. You haven't asked him anything about what his current monthly sales volume is, so you don't know which way way to point your growth plan for the prospect. Next, let's dress like you care...a real businessman looks the part and has the tools of the trade with him at all times....like a leather folio briefcase, marketing materials and writing/note pad, etc. Offer a survey package in order to gauge his prospective buyers in order to find out what they would like to have in a car. You have to be able to show him how you can make his business more money by creating value. Marketing is great, but once those clients come in, how are you going to convert those prospects into buyers? That's where a good deal of your focus should be. Help him to build value in his brand along with the marketing. True, your marketing will bring awareness of his product but what then once the prospects arrive at his doorstep?
Thank you guys!!!! Don’t mind what these people are saying. You guys are working and they are the ones watching you! Who’s greater?? You rock! Keep doing what you doing!
Thanks for uploading your strategy... Some people don't understand how things actually work in a pitch... no matter what people are saying good or bad you can learn from this video... now you can practice your rebuttals to his questions to get practice.
I truly belive it's not that bad. Practice makes perfect right? It's really hard to actually do a salescall a walkin etc. Trust me, I'm 15 years old and doing that atleast 10 times a week... One tip that I've learned is to always do research on the client. Not before a coldcall, because it's takes too much time. But before a meeting, you definiently need to do that! Then ofcourse you can ask questions, that shows that you're curios. But only on the things that you couldn't have done your own research on. Then they just see you as wasting their time. As I told you, still preatty good! It's certainly better than my first times!
Jez guys you went into that woth no preperation at all. The car guy did all the talking and mentioned all the benefits of online marketing. you just kept saying you could do it all for him? Do what? You were not clear in what you were saying to him or offering. Did not use any examples. Free what? Promises on what? Go watch sales videos on selling SEO and tweak them for social. also lots of vids for promoting car dealers. Be prepared next time and dont just say yeah we can do this for you! He is already doing it and you gave him no reason to even look at you guys. Look forward to your progression and dont give up :)
sales is showing him how much value you can provide. make him feel it would do him a disservice by not hiring you. you build up the value first then you hit him with the number it should be a slam dunk. give him direct numbers to intice him. he wants to hear numbers he is in car sales.
I'm not as lousy as i think myself to be. haha.. I'm more in love with my services and clients are glued on my words. i might record my own pitch next time. with video. thank you for sharing this you two. i appreciate it. love the encouraging coaching comments as well.
I will keep it positive here... Work on your initial straight line, Stop closing your pitch door by asking "Can you, will you and sounds good?" questions. If you are going to teach people on getting client on videos, shut the music off, for one it's extremely too loud and also it's an annoyance to people trying to listen. Put your durn phone in your pocket and quit flickering around. This is by far the worse type of consulting i've ever seen. no notes, no pens no paper. I'm sure it's play but still, you gotta drill down before you start offering solutions. What I see here is; - No confidence - No Energy - No direction - source of frame work - Talk but nothing applied to action to show the client anything that shows growth Yada, yada sorry. Constructive not destructive I promise, no shade here just some differences even if this is a sample video. You need to have a notepad and pen. and show your potential client some figures that make sense. You don't give solutions blindly. You did something that is VERY VERY VERY bad for anyone starting up... asking for FREE service. You have now allowed your potential client to focus on your bottom dollar rather than your value. NEVER attempt to get a client on $0.00 contingency. You just fed a dog a bone and now they expect low cost or free from here on out.
Personally, I love "Pitch Anything" from Oren Klaff, a very valuable book to read, may even help to boost your sales. Best to you and thanks for sharing the video!
Man, I hope I have prospects that are this desperate for an agency! It's hard not to be nervous though. If these guys stuck with it, im sure they are crushing it right now. They did the hardest part right here in this video and that having the balls go into a meeting nervous as fuck. You forget a lot of shit you know about your own services when your nervous, i'm sure they know more than they let on. Respect. Hope you guys are killing it. And thanks for the video!
You shouldn't be promising anything, cause now (if you landed) the business owner is gonna assume he is getting more revenue and more engagement. Offer your self right and don't make false promises cause that's gonna get you into trouble, you are setting yourselves up to fail... that being said good job getting the meeting time and would like to hear an update
basically you need to upload some more videos because basically it is fun to watch and promise the stars and the moon to this guy basically I need to see some updates with this guy basically basically
Awesomness guys! Thanks for sharing, i had no freaking idea of how the actual on field things are going. Cheers, keep it up, now i have a lot better understanding thanks to you. 💡
These guys got the meeting. That is harder to do than people imagine. Lots to critique sure, but they got the hardest to get opportunity, an in face meeting

Not bad lads. You'd have mentioned CAC and diversifying into inbound marketing to reduce or make their budget more efficient. Elaborate on the advantages of content marketing on their site and the authority figure that comes with it.. -Doing a bite-sized videos on youtube and facebook to complement the ad for specific car sales and overall dealership. -Ideas and trend inputs and consultants in regards to the younger demographics (your demographics)... -Instagram stories.... -SEO/SEM Sh*t goes on...Just prepare a bit more and clear all his/her scepticism beforehand. Great on going out there, cold calling and getting the meeting. But seriously guys this prospect was the easiest catch on the market. Great on asking questions as any consultant should do but with practice you can go some way. Check out, Gant Cardone, Brian Tracy, etc.
You guys went into this meeting without any preparation. Props for actually going in and taking action then putting this on RUclips. You need to be able to break down your services and strategize with the business owner how to get them more leads and then break down what each lead (potential client, it's on them to convert the leads) is worth to them so they get a sense of the ROI they receive from the service. And try and connect with them on a personal level from business owner to business owner. You pitch them with authority, and show them why they need you.
Explained the billing part wrong i even got confused he could’ve just said we give a free service to show that you could trust us with your business to bring in potential buyers and once you start seeing results we’ll charge you whatever money it is they are charging.

Hey Luis? I just landed a meeting with a client. The thing is I'm 18 and I look kindve young. Do you think that will be a turn off to the client?
