Do you know about the front subframe safety recall? If not, you should look into it.
10x easier with a real one than trying to piece one together eh haha
Easier? Definitely. Will you be able to restore it the way you want? Probably not.
I've been debating on which route to go. I know starting from a shell usually costs more money. However, when you factor in the age of these cars, you really want to touch everything and replace as much as you can.
Why pay a premium for a car with most of the parts that will be replaced anyway. Plus, it saves time removing the original part.
It just depends on your goals.
Did you scrap your conversion shell or set it to the side for the time being?
