My Dad was 17 when he was conscripted into Hitler's war. Like the man in this story, he also didn't want to kill anyone or be killed. He fled Czechoslovakia and went across the border to Austria, where he literally starved for weeks. It was a scary time for him, but it was also the best decision he ever made. A few years later he was given the opportunity to move to Australia. He wanted to get as far away from the war as possible. He lived peacefully in Australia till his passing at 93 years of age. 🙏 If you're a male citizen of Russia, RUN! Get out of Russia as fast as you can. Live a peaceful life away from dictators like Putin.

When Clinton was in power he had several military campaigns one of which was the war in Yugoslavia that was waged so he like Putin could use the war to distract the nation and gain more clout .
Every country does what Putin is doing weither it was protect the oil reserves in Kuwait when Bush Sr was president .
or the french's ability to repay loans to the US in WW1 when Woodrow Wilson was president and yes, that is the real reason America joined in as many businesses were worried the French would fail and not repay thier debts.
Leaders fight wars to gain benefits , we are sending aid to Ukraine because we want them to fight Russia and weaken them not because politicians really care if Ukraine exists or not, after all a African country fell this week and most people have no idea what country it was and who toppled it.

This is definitely gonna hit Russia hard in all the right places for them to stop their tyranny.
The drafting range for wars are those that make up half if not most of the working class. If half of the working class flees, Russia won't be able to draft enough soldiers and a bunch of soldiers have fled and surrendered already. And if Putin tried to draft his police and security to the front lines that could mean dire straints on prisons and he would leave himself vulnerable.
He is tearing apart his own country, and for what? The whole world is against him at this point, he must have an unholy amount of pride to continue like this.

That guy is wrong. Here some facts. 1) Starting from the 2014 there is forced mobilisation in Ukraine (also protests against it and evasion, people mass fleeing the country) with a ban of men age 18-60 to leave the country. 2) Donetsk and Lugansk self proclaimd republics have had volunteer armies until the February 2022. 3) Untill now Russia operated in Ukraine with pretty small (about 150 thousands) volunteer army. Russia*s and her allied armies about three times smaller than Ukranian mobilezed army. Thats why Russia proclaimed mobilisation now. And its not just about the size of the army, but also about the speed of replenishment of losses. Ukraine can mobilize a few thousands of new soldiers in a couple weeks, while Russia will replenish this number of military contractor servicemen much longer. Small volunteer army is good against savages with machete and rusty AK-47, but not against big mobilized army with a bunch of weapons. 4) The protesting people and people who are leaving Russia are mostly an opposition. They are mostly liberals, and liberals + nationalists + jihadis if we are talking about ethnic minorities like Dagestanians. But as I see, the protests are not so numerous, neither the number of fleeing people. Its not like in the US during the Vietnam war, for example, where the protests and migration were huge. Some small regions of Russia already said they mobilized the required number of soldiers. I think to mobilize 300 thousand men wouldnt be a problem for Russia.

This is absolutely terrifying. There aren't words in the English language to describe the magnitude of sacrifice it takes to make choices that completely change the course of your life. Look how long it took many of these people to leave. Many waited and now its coming to its worst point where they are detained. I commend these people for their bravery, commitment to what they believe and stand for. I commend them for making decisions that are monumentous for the sake of their families, and their quality of life..regardless of their paths possibly leading to uncertainty..In order to make decisions tremendous as these..it takes true grit, it takes a person to take a hard look into themselves. To look at what this will lead to..while there are those with no idea of where they'll go or how they'll survive! Willing to risk it all for freedom is scary!! It takes a person who is willing to drop pride, and cut through the layers within..the ones that at times influence, blind, and transform us and keep us against one another...realizing we've come to be in a place that is out of with the person they truly are and need to be in these moments. It takes the strength to question our emotions, decisions and actions...While others who've known the truth question their ability to survive..to have courage..they question their faith..T.V does not have the ability to gravitate the magnitude of catastrophe and monstrosities taking placel! I dont care if it is occuring in Timbuck 2! The point is that it is happening in society in a day and age where many of us had hoped for a change..for progress in how we evolve.. People here in the U.S repeatedly speak of the same issues yet nothing has actively changed in a way that is crucial to the outcomes we experience. WE need to come to the realization that we as a people must fight so we do not experience similiar circumstances! Ones that are already actively changing the course of our lives!!!! We only see a small minute fraction of what goes on while decisions are being made in the balance. Ones people will naively agree with. Ones that will have a catastrophic impact on the lives of those of us who are against a tyrannical Government. Where will we go? What will YOU do? Naturally as individuals it is not our preference to focus on the bad..we hide from it..ignore it..refuse to accept it..doubt it..or argue its untrue or fabricated..while watching this chaos unfolding right before our eyes. Day to day from a tiff with a coworker, to a rude uber, to a snotty, customer, a friend who betrays us, losing a parent, friend, or family member...loss of a job..spiral in mental health..kids being hypersexualized in schools..We IGNORE it..we dont want to place energy into feeling or acting on these things that bring nothing but upset or sorrow and turmoil to our lives..Things that would cause us to take action in a way we never have had to before..to speak up..If we cannot get past certain feelings, and emotions in our daily lives how will we be ready to face the consequences of what it will take to protect ourselves, our families, and eachother???
My heart is heavy..and goes out to ALL of the men, women and children in Russia and Ukraine..Those who have escaped..to those who have not..to those who have lost your loved ones..and to those who have begun your journey in fleeing to protect your lives...I pray for every one of them..As well as those in other countries who are suffering...while those atrocities not aired for us to see...If I was able I'd take in as many people as possible until they are able to find a more permanent place.
I hold strong views when it comes to every individuals right to freedom..No matter your political standpoint, as a Republican, or a Democrat..regardless of your race or ethnicity, as White, Black, Chinese, Hispanic Russian, Native American, Alaskan Native, Korean, Japanese, Laos, Filipino, Nigerian..etc no matter the dollar amount you make, social status, or religion! WE MUST TAKE A DEEP LOOK AT OURSELVES, WHO WE'VE BECOME, HOW WE HAVE ALLOWED OURSELVES TO BE INFLUENCED. ASK OURSELVES IF OUR BEHAVIORS ALIGN WITH THE MORALS AND PRINCIPLES WE STAND UPON ROOTED WITHIN OUR HEARTS AND MINDS. THE ONES THAT ARE BURIED AND FORGOTTEN, SMOTHERED IN TOXIC EMOTIONS THAT DRIVE US TO HATE, JUDGE, AND SLANDER ONE ANOTHER NOT BASED ON FACTS, BUT BASED OUR INABILITY TO TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY! BASED ON OUR INABILITY TO LOOK PAST THE SURFACE AND AT THE FACTS. OUR INABILITY TO BOIL ALLL OF THIS DOWN TO SEE THAT IN SPITE OF OUR DIFFERENCES WE CAN FIND UNITY IN OUR FREEDOM!!!
I will never allow pride or prejudice to keep me from uniting with my fellow man due to the color of his skin, his income, religion or political beliefs. NONE of that is relevent when the root of our unity is gathered upon our rights..and our fight to maintain freedom. belongs to all of us. I will stand on ground and unite with my fellow man as he is, for the sake of Justice and Freedom.
